holy fuark at that session, looks brutal as hell. Thanks for making me feel like a pussy!

Also, my friends freak out just at my legs, I would LOVE to see their reactions to yours![/quote]

LOL

You can ask Bug here about his reaction the first time he saw my thunder thighs olololol

I’ve been asked to share some motivation stuff that keeps me going via Facebook so I figured I’d post it on the log as well.

I strongly urge all the people who read this log to subscribe to Eric Thomas, and listen to him first thing in the morning. If you don’t change for the better, there’s no help for you.

Haha, I’m glad to, although my brain isn’t

The Transmutation Block was killing my energy levels so much that I became too dependent on Caffeine and now I’m getting headache withdrawals since I started cutting back.

Week 8 - Deload

  1. Squat, Beltless

    70% 2x5 385lbs

  2. GHR - 5x10

  3. Band Leg Curls 5xfailure

Ha. How much caffeine are we talking here?

1000-1500mg

I’m addicted to carbonated drinks. Monster, rockstar, are damn delicious, add the fact I also use caffeine pills and it adds up.

Lol, I went from that much to about 280mg now, I’m feeling normal at that daily dose. Now that the volume is coming down as I’m about 5 weeks out, I won’t need to use a lot of supps or recovery aids to get me through a grueling Transmutation block like the the one I just did.

Any tips on how you cue your squat set up? I just started squatting with a bar on my back again and getting set up is probably the hardest part.

Yeah…thats a lot of caffeine. I have been pretty excited since I upped my 250mgs to 375 on my main training days (in addition to the 2.5 cups of coffee I am drinking in the morning).

Did somebody say coffee?

You’re probably around 500mg, which is where I might end being today sense I’m training today.

What steps do you take to set up under the bar. Like when you bench you grip, set your shoulders, then set your feet. Meaning, do you have a specific algorithm for getting tight?
