I’m doing a similar sort of thing. Do you not find that equal pushups to chins is way out of balance?

I mean for me 30 push ups is a piece of piss whereas 30 chins is quite a lot of work.

Is there a reason for keeping them 1:1 that I don’t know about? or did he get it wrong?[/quote]

I think PG has it right below. Most people do way more pressing than pulling.

I am considering doing to "sets’ of the push ups every day but i want to make certain it won’t F’up anything else.

Throughly crushed by this, not sure why but I’m beat.

I should think you’d be quite good at HLRs.

I’m probably too fat for those but I think I’m going to give them a try. I’m thinking my abs need to be stronger for squats.

It would be laughable if I attempted them, nice work Joe

Think I’ll have to video my HLRs tomorrow.

same here. I’ve never done em though. I can only imagine. What about from the chair thingy?

I love HLRs. You’ll get really good at them quite quickly if you stick with them.

How are your elbows feeling with the Chins everyday?

And you may have mentioned this, but are you using the same grip each day?

I’ve been using the neutral grip every day so far.

I get a small amount of discomfort on some days but I’m prone to tendonitis.

Cool. I’ve been doing some kind of pull ups for 2 weeks now and my elbows are flaring up. One more week and then I’m not doing anything for a week. I’ve been switching grips daily/between sets, etc.

I’ve found my upper back is MUCH stronger now.

When I get back from my vacation I’m going to start another cycle but with wide grip and see how I do with that for a bit.
