Wow, what a great idea. Now where would one start such a log?

The only issue with this sort of thing is remembering what you did the day before.[/quote]

PS: I have started to add pull ups/chins into my everyday doings. My shoulders seems to feel better because of it (strangely enough).

Yeah, if I logged on before I started.
I think some BW stuff like chins, pushups etc. as an outstanding balance to the weighted work.
Happy birthday Joe. Good luck with the 5 week challenge. I agree with balancing the weights and BW stuff for longevity.
Happy late birthday Joe.
Thanks guys, I had a really good birthday

Walk Outs
405x 50 seconds
425x 30 seconds
i wanted a bit more volume but I was gassed at the end and called it a day. Never tried 365 before but Vikki said I was sand bagging so I thought what the hell. I’ll be working on getting 365 down to depth for a few weeks but i feel good about it.
Walking out 425 was surpringly hard. I can’t imainge I’ll ever squat that but who knows.

It wasn’t that long ago that you were writing “280* a bit high”.

I can DEFINITELY see you squatting 425 one day soon.
Belated Happy Birthday.

You will definently do it, I bet before next summer ![]()
That’s what is so great about logs. You look back and see when you once said “boy, I can’t imagine lifting that much” and it’s a weight that you’re moving for reps.

agreed, you’ll get it; i have no doubts
Well, that’s the whole point of walkouts, they make your regular weight seem light as a feather.
And I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before that 425 is pumping up and down.
Five week challenge
27 push ups
27 chins
still reading ya!
Five week challenge
28 push ups
28 chins
ha, I love it
Sandbagger!
You will own that 425# before too long and will be walking out 465 before too long.
Five week challenge - All one set for each?
I would think the push ups are doable for you, chins would be sweet.
Your numbers have been flying up. No reason to doubt 425, just another number.

The push ups are all done in one set. What I try to do is to take a set number for the chins and then add one rep o the set each week so tht 5 becomes 6 and then you do enough sets of six to hit your target. Saves the elbows a bit, particularly when you are doing the full eight week run. Which I am goign to do when I get my vacation in.
Five week Challenge
29 pushups
29 chins
Great training Joe. I like your all squat workout. Sometimes one exercise is all it takes.

I know at some point I need to add in assistance work but right now I think I need to be better at the main lift mechanics. I’m just about ready to add in low weight high rep GM’s following squats.
