Is that blood running down your lower leg?.
That looked so close, when i fail (frequently) it is right at the bottom of the pull and usually a failure to break the weight off the floor.
Strong effort there !!

Yeah my shins bleed when I DL but normally I wear high socks to hide it. I fogot them yesterday and by the time I got to that last pull I was a little worried about slipping in the small puddle of blood on the floor.
It happenned to me the first time i got over 200lbs !!, bled from both legs, someone walked past looked at it and just went : woh–hardcore !!
Blood and iron eh ??
Sooo close, good try you’ll get it soon. WTF is that slapper behind you doing?

Benching was all over the place. I think its time to work on several singles in the 255-265 range.
Nice effort on that dead lift Joe. It’s funny, pulling conventional I never have a problem at the top. When I fail I can never get it to break ground.

Yep, you had that just seemed to be a little off. Next week.[/quote]
Yep, I’m going to try 415 next week.

Couldn’t get through the circuit guys to do HLR’s so I did a crapload of cable crunches. Tested to see if my low back can take GM’s after squats. Squats were hit or miss nut all in all an okay day.
PRs! Nice.
One thing to think about is whether you want PRs as you ramp up, or if you are going for a weight PR that day. The two can conflict.
And the PR Parade just keeps on coming! Outstanding work Joe…

Those are wise words. I, on the other hand, can be more than a bit of dumbass and get both.
Great work and congrats on the PRs. You’re doing really well and you’ll definitely get that pull next time you put your hands on the bar.

Had trouble staying tight for the board presses and everything felt heavy. Manged to get my head on straight and finish out okay but not my best effort.
