So thats seven days of lifting in eight days. I’m on vacation now but when I come back I can squat on Sunday and then start a normal week on Monday so it was worth it. I just hope five days of lifting doens’t make me feel weak when i get back to it. I generally don’t respond well to off time.

Joe, you are killin’ it with the training! I’ll bet you looked great in the pirate costume. Pictures?
As soon as the wedding pics come out I will post a few. I looked like an idiot…
YES!! I was hoping to read this.
Nice training, Joe! You really do put in a lot of volume.
You’ll get back into the training with minimal problems, I’m sure. I mean, its just a week right?! Eat lots, sleep lots and enjoy! Safe travels!
Have a great vacation! Time off training is always a win-lose proposition for me too…its good to recover, but bad for momentum.
Joe, your dedication to training is truly commendable.
In an alternative universe, I’d probably say you’re Nuts! Dood!!!

Back from vacation and I hiked my ass off along but I ate so much bad food its right where it started off.
Here’s the first pirate wedding pic. More of those and vacation pics to follow. I am the guy on the far right in the line in the back.
That just may beat the brides maids dresses IVe had to wear. Did you take off the shirt later and rock the muscles? I mean a distraction is a distraction, why not.
Sounds like a lot of hiking!
welcome back!
Nice picture brotha. Neither of those steeds looks built for speed.

I used my Metal All-Black knee wraps today. Its going to take some time to get those things broken in but I think they are going to be really good long term. The hiking took a toll on my effort today and I had to take a really long time to get things done but I got it in.
Great work. How do you like the walk outs?
Those are awesome pics. Once you’re up there the whole point of it is to relax not to rush through it so those horses look perfect.

Jealous of the Horsies!!!
HAH! Love the pirate wedding pic! I’m with Up, that shirt was meant to be casually splayed open in proper pirate fashion. I hope you got to keep the costume. Could come in handy ![]()
Also love the horse-riding pics! I just went horseback riding yesterday for the first time ever! So much fun. It was a very City Slickers moment.
And yes, you did get it in! You also got PRs! So I guess that puts the kibosh on “taking time off makes me weak” Good work!

I was told and I quote “Not to outshine” the groom by the bride to be. So open shirt would have attracted to much attention, bad or good. Yep, the costume is mine for whatever mischief I can get up to in it.
Came back to see if there was more pics…whalla - looks serene.
Im really into that lately, its all about the clam after the storm…
For your walkouts the time you have listed, is that once your in position to squat, or is that total time un-racking and standing there? I love the walk outs, was just saying to G put them back in!
calm although clam gave me a laugh ![]()

I start once I’ve got them walked out and ready to squat.
I am quite fond of the clam before the storm.
Looks like you had a good time. Welcome back.
