The Path to Paradise Begins in Hell

You’re almost there…but where is the ab work?

Do you have the next meet planned yet? Are you going to lift at Arab too? Or just “handle” Ronda?
There will be some today for certain HLR’s, weighted planks, and perhaps some suitcase deads.

I will be lifting at Arab and hopefully qualifying for nationals there.

Joe I feel like your confidence after your first meet really kicked up 10 notches.

What ever it is keep doing it, thinking it , feeling it, cause its working!!!
I think its mostly the realization that numbers I thought I’d never hit are getting closer and closer to happening.

Joe, you’re lifting great! Actually, your numbers aren’t too far ahead of mine, gives me inspiration that I can get there.

It’s odd about ab work, am I the only guy whose squats and deads work abs instead of the other way around? Are abs your weak point?

I think at a certain point you have to do some ab work aside from squats and deads. Right now I do think my abs are my weak point.

Say Joe, it just occurred to me - are you anywhere close to Old Navy? Isn’t he around there somewhere?

That’s a fantastic pull. 405 is awesome. I now down in envy.

Great work in here as always. Always a good positive vibe reading your log…

Was groomsman in a pirate wedding this weekend. Lots of work and adding this in I’m exhausted. I’ve got to deadlift this afternoon so hopefully I can get some rest somewhere.

Solid work. What’s a “pirate wedding”?

james

wow that’s some volume Joe! How do you like the 2 brd?

Joe, you are killin’ it with the training! I’ll bet you looked great in the pirate costume. Pictures?

As soon as the wedding pics come out I will post a few. I looked like an idiot…
