Sounds like fun. In a sick sort of way.
It was fun. That was my volume day and I get all swollen so it looks like I have muscles for a little bit.
giterdone wrote:
A 20lb PR on anything pressing related is no joke. Is your weight on the way up as well?
Nope its holding steady at around 195. I’ve changed my diet and added in more fruit and beans etc and I seem to be getting a lot stronger. particularly in upper body stuff.

Joe awesome run of PR’s…keep hitting it, man!!

Good Work Bro!

20 lb PR on bench? Sandbagger!

Really good week for PR’s Joe!

Note to self, eat more beans and fruit! You’re smashing PR’s Joe, that’s awesome. It’s nice when you get a streak going.

In my defense I just started doing the manpon presses. I’ll have a two board set up in the next few days so I will be switching to that.

Yeah I’ve pulled 425 conventional and I’m itching to get back there and get my Sumo pull over my conventional.

You mentioned ab work for squats…I don’t see any ab work, other than HLR. You are on the right track, heavy standing ab work for a big squat.
GAH! So its true. Guess I should start training abs…

Nice work in here, Joe! PRs all over the place.

HLRs are insanely hard. Kudos for getting those in.

Pushup/Chin combo is just my style. I should check out Convict Conditioning! Love BW exercises. Plus looking like you just got out of the pen is kinda badass.

Fingers crossed on the house contract!

And yes, baby face is good

back on the PR train

congrats on the pressing and sumos

You’re almost there…but where is the ab work?

Do you have the next meet planned yet? Are you going to lift at Arab too? Or just “handle” Ronda?

Joe I feel like your confidence after your first meet really kicked up 10 notches.

What ever it is keep doing it, thinking it , feeling it, cause its working!!!
