Anyone heard of the “Ziploc Omelet”?

I just saw an e-mail about it, haven’t tried it yet though. It’s for having a really quick omelet in the morning. All you do is basically make up what you want in your omelet (eggs and any veggies/meats/whatever) and toss it in a ziploc bag. It can sit in the fridge overnight to speed things up in the morning. Make sure all of the air is out of the bag, shake it up, place it in a pot of boiling water for 12-15 minutes, take it our, open the bag and roll it out onto your plate. Done.

Seems pretty quick, and I might try making a few in one night and have them for breakfast the next few days.

Like that, only with a few more eggs!

Cutting: About 550cals, 70g pro.

8oz lean meat
1oz nuts
lemon water with 1/2tsp honey, 1tsp fenugreek seeds
Some sauce (Horseradish, mustard, Salsa etc. Low cal)

Bulking: About 800cals, 90g pro.

10oz lean meat
2oz nuts
Same as above.

Best breakfast ever. Satiety, Nutritional, blood sugars everything! Poliquin inspired.

Rotate the meat and nuts every 5 days.

Chicken breats, bison patties, ground elk, top sirloin, pork loin etc.

Almonds, hazzelnuts, Brazil nuts, pecans, walnuts etc.

Carbs I do peri-work out, works the best for me. Just switching to this breakfast caused a change in my composition!

Interesting. I have read a number of studies saying that carbs may not be the best thing for breakfast, but have never actually put this into practice.

I hear Prof X has a freshly slaughtered steer cooked in its own intestines.

Could anyone post a good recipe for microwave omelet ?

i figured all i needed was flat bowl with a lid to put it in and i could microwave an omelet while in the shower ?

have anyone tried this ?

steak and eggs on a bed of wilted spinach

I heard that when you drink raw eggs you only absorb around 10% of the protein… ex Mr Britain who runs my old gym and is a good friend told me this, he said he’s never done a ‘Rocky’. Much better to cook them

typical weekday breakfast:
1/2 cup oats w/water mixed with the following -
1/2 cup blueberries
2 TBL ground flax seed
cinnamon
almond milk

3 egg whites
small glass of almond milk, fish oil, multivitamin

mid morning snack:
2 slices ezekiel bread (toasted), warmed almond butter, blueberries, and flax seed meal
green tea

on the weekends i make “protein crepes”:
1/2 cup oats
2 whole eggs, 4 egg whites
blueberries, flax
mix all in blender and pour into heated pan, makes about 6 crepes, spread all-fruit/peanut butter (or any kind of nut butter) and enjoy

I gave this a try just once not long ago without success. Perhaps because as weight trainers we are going to use more eggs then one or two, it took FOREVER to be cooked all the way through, and by that time there was some damage to the bag. Great concept though.

Yea I’m not a fan of toxins leeching from plastics into my food. Estrogen anyone? I’ll spare my fertility and Testosterone.

That does look quite interesting, especially the whole ‘throw whatever you want in the bag’ part.

But doesn’t simply putting a bowl of a few eggs in the microwave for a minute does the same? Alot faster and simpler.

Yup, see above. A bowl + a Lid is all you need, a few eggs about 1min and its done.

I’m seriously gonna have to give this a try! I’ve always found I need the large amounts of oatmeal to keep me full in the morning thou atleast for those few hours until the next meal.

 • How long until you’re next meal?
 • I assume that breakfast satisfies your hunger then?

where’s the Greek yogurt guys? A cup of that shit is 20g protein!!

I’ve got 3 Omega Eggs
1 cup of Greek Yogurt with 1 cup of blueberries
2 slices Ezekiel Sprouted Cinnamon Raisn Bread
1 cup of bell peppers
1/2 avacado
1 glass of all natural Cranberry Juice

Soooooooooo damn good!!

 !! how do you find the time dude !?
I just do email and manage my investments/securities while I cook, takes 15 minutes tops. Also, I use coconut oil to cook in which gives omelets an awesome taste.
F#%& yeah. That’s how I roll!
