Shoulder feels back to normal, not pushing the weight stupidly high. I’m going to be building back up with 5x5 on Mondays, and 4x8 Mid Grip on Thursdays. Next comp is Deadlift only so I’ve got nothing to push for, just carry on building the base.

Body weight is around 96-96.5kg atm after a weekend away at the sister in laws, and eating a lot of food. I’ve pushed my bulk as far as I’m comfortable for now… I’m constantly feeling bloated and fat, so I’m dropping to maintenance calories for a few weeks, then I’ll move into a slow cut to get rid of the excess bodyfat.

Good to hear the shoulder is feeling batter and you are back pressing. Will you still get it scanned?

Yea, its still painful to lay on my left side, but thats the only time it causes me any problems, and even if it wasnt Id still get it done for piece of mind, because theres definately something going on for it to be as bad as it was.

Healthcare over here is crazy! I pay $1100 per month for coverage for myself and my two daughters. We’re all three healthy and rarely use it. My wife is on a separate policy and pays about $600 per month. It’s insane… our health care costs are about what I made my first year out of college lol.

But… when my wife was sick they probably ponied up close to $1mil in claims so I can’t complain too much

Wow thats crazy!!

Weight is up around 6-7kg, I used to hover around 89-90kg day to day, I’m steady at 96.5kg atm.

Nutrition wise was pretty clean, I was bulking on around 4.5k cals per day, 250ish P / 130ish F / rest carbs. Monday to Friday was quite regimented, the weekend was a little more relaxed but I stuck to roughly the same calories.

I’m on 4k cals per day right now and my weight is staying where it is. I’m planning to do a small cut in a month or so (most likely straight after the Deadlift comp) and get rid of a bit of excess fat for my wedding in December, and honeymoon in Jan.

PB Deadlift, as stupid as the set is! I was supposed to do 3, my first rep looked and felt RPE 10 which really pissed me off!! So I did another 3 reps which were better!

Needed to blow off some steam and warm ups felt good, so threw out my planned session and just worked up to a new 5RM, last warm up single was 205kg and it felt so easy, so jumped up to 225kg! Reps were a bit slow towards the end, but technique didn’t feel like it was faltering much, was just fatigued.
