Bench was supposed to be 120kg, but I wasn’t feeling it. 110kg x3 felt heavy in my hands (moved ok) for my last warmup so decided to drop the weight. It’ll pay off when next week rolls around and I’m fresh!

Knees been giving me a bit of grief last couple of days, not sure if a little tendinitis has crept its way in, or if i’ve tweaked it training. Its nothing major, bct hurts a little when dealing with stairs.
Thank god this blocks done with, 2 days to rest up now, then start a new block on Monday.

Not sure what I’ve done, it came on yesterday, but my left shoulder is causing me some grief! It hurts to lift my arm laterally, or to pick anything up with my left hand. I’ll be taking a few days out of the gym, may pick things back up on Thursday depending on how it’s feeling.

Cheers mate. I’m hopeful too! Had to call in sick at work today, theres no way I could do my job with my shoulder as is. Fingers crossed tomorrow feels better than today

Spoke to a sports physio friend I see, and he says it sounds like an RC injury. Now I’ve been up and about for a bit I’m not sure it even feels better than it did yesterday. Just moving about is causing me a fair bit of pain

What options do you have to get it checked out ?
Haha not a lot really, the NHS isn’t great. I could get a referral from my GP for an MRI but I know from past experience that’ll be a minimum 3 month wait, and the problem will have more than likely resolved itself by then.
I’m not in a position to be able to afford one privately so its just a waiting game until it heals.
I have no bruising or swelling so thats a good sign its nothing too major, it’s just uncomfortable and painful

Probably up from being so sedentary this last 2-3 days. So far, shoulder feels better than yesterday and almost useable. Hopefully I can get back to normal in a day or so because it driving me mad!
