The Navy Seals Workout

Anyone ever tried this? Results?

I love pushups, but my pullups suck, so I just started this program. Since I live in a lousy area for running (believe me, between the weather and the other shit…), I will do mountainclimbers and jump rope instead.

The swimming is not an issue, as I have already been into that. This also is a break from doing a shitload of burpees.

Anyone else?

My wife got me a book a few years back on Navy Seal Training.

I did the program for 8 weeks and lost about 3 pounds, not that I wanted to.

I didn’t find it all that difficult, maybe the swimming but that’s about it.

Hey nice link. I had a thread up a month ago about seal training related to this.

That IS an outstanding site. Thanks for posting it.

The pic of the dude with the blood running down his head would make a great avatar.

I love how they list the category I workout as “for people who are currently inactive” and start it off with a 2 mile run at an 8:30 pace. Maybe I’m just fatter and more out of shape than I thought, but that pace seems a bit quick for an inactive person to start at.
