You sound like an old man. If you played Mass Effect and still stood by your comment… well screw you kindly, good sir. Your opinion simply wouldn’t matter after that.

No…that just means you are uninteresting at parties.
LOL @ “all video games are boring”. Yeah, they are flying off the racks at up to and over 60 bucks a pop because they put most people to sleep.
LOL
Well from the way he sounded he may not be very interesting at parties for the guys(what with not liking much Star Trek or sci-fi and video games), but he’d likely be a hit with the ladies.

Trying to get my stereotypes right. I was going to ask what Parties in Japan have you went to? LOL
Wrong spot.
I did spend my 20s in Canada…if that makes it any better.
But I’m pretty sure women the world over and for quite a bit into the foreseeable future will not find video games and sci-fi great topics for parties.

Man you would be suprised by the amount of geek females out in the world. And since many of them grew up in the 80/90’2 that number is growing. But then you run into women who enjoy playing dumb just to let the guy think he’s smooth.

Agreed. I have met quite a few who do play video games. They either seem to get it…or they act like video games are something they just can’t grasp.
It is not an uncommon scene anymore for a guy in his 30’s to have his girl pissed off because he has his head set on and has been screaming into it for hours.
It is a cultural difference, and honestly, if you are over 45 or around that age, no one really cares if you don’t get it. I am sure the generation before you had a problem with fucking DISCO MUSIC.
We successfully killed that off though.
Video games will be here for a while.
Like rap.

Then you didn’t pay attention. It was a Jesus story, simply put…crossed with discussion of philosophy. I would go as far as to dsay it is the best representation of that concept in our current times in media.
I give the first film a ton of credit. It will be one of those they watch 50 years from now in schools to discuss.
50 years?
Bitch please, we watched that in school and discussed it when I was in school. That was 9+ years ago now.

He seemed to miss the point, being that the movie will stand as a token to a statement of both philosophy and religion for more than one generation.

My guess is because he is on the other side of the world he thinks he can get away with calling you a bitch.
Time for a road/flying trip Doc?
Do you ever think they reboot this series?

I see how people treat me daily. I have lost the need to flex over the internet. I just laugh now because I know people act way differently face to face.
As far as the movie, yeah…they will likely take the story further…but probably not for another ten years with a different cast.
Morpheus has let himself go big time. That dude used to be in shape to some degree.
if they made another movie now, he wouldn’t fit in the leather jacket without bungee rope.

For realz. he must be enjoying the hell out life though I guess.
I can’t really say shit either because I had a gut too…but if I was going to be in a Predator movie, you can bet I would have lost it sooner.
How the fuck do you get stranded on a planet for years being hunted by aliens with no food or water…but you are still 60lbs overweight when they find you?
Was this the location of the Universe’s last Krispy Kreme?
