Matrix Revolutions

Saw it. Didn’t like it at all.

in order of

1.)The Matrix
2.)Reloaded
3.)Revolutions

followed the typical sequel half life

TERRIBLE!!!

BLECH!! what do you mean blech, i don’t like spam

From what I have read so far on rottentomatoes.com, the jump the shark feeling I got when Neo started using his powers in real life (at the end of Reloaded) will be continued in Revolutions.

Unless there`s a whopping super-theory setting, Architect-style, that sews everything up together…which I seriously doubt, based on all sources I have received so far.

Consolation: LOTR will still go down in history as the King of Trilogies for the last 15 years.

MONTY PYTHON IS AWESOME.“its only a flesh wound.”

when I left, I felt after you do, when you can’t wait for something for so long, then it sucks.

It didn’t suck that bad but its lost its mystique. It felt very detached to me; I’ll have to see it again to get a clearer picture of that.

Given that the original story is probably a metaphor for the “system” that we live in right now, its about right. One cannot live without the other.

Some of the acting was really good, some of it sucked. Emotionally it wasn’t there; it wasn’t as creepy as I was hoping it was going to be.

The effects were spectacular at times and the action sequences weren’t bad. There were some great moments, but sometimes the dialog was stupid (“Calamari”) and a little campy.

Now on to LotR

it left me confused… course the final fight was cool… ended weird… sentinels falling cause neo raised his hand had me all about “Yea man fuck the matrix”

I thought a better ending would be if Neo opened his eyes at the end, smiled a small smile and would say…

“Be Excellent to everyone…”

I fucking hate all that super choreographed fighting. It’s so fake.

HARLEY63:

Whoah! Excellent…dude!

(Cool finger gestures and accompanying air guitar music in the background)

Okay, so I haven’t even seen the second one yet (have the DVD, but I have quite a backlog of unviewed movies still). No spoilers, please.

Too bad Trinity and Neo die in the end!

And, the Matrix gets restarted, but those who don’t to be in it are allowed freedom!

Neo saves Zion by convincing the machines to stop by offering to fight agent Smith.

Oh yeah, and Neo gets blinded by the human incarnation of Agent Smith, but can still see the “machines”

i fukin loved it! you poeple that don’t like it probably don’t understand it. have you taken any philosophy? the entire trilogy is a philosophical mind phuck. go to the matrix website and on the top there is the mainframe section, click on the square that says philosophy when then cursor is over it.
if you read just the first 3 “a,b,c” the movie will make a shit load more sense. i guess i’m more into the plot than just the special effects, which i thought was the best of the 3 films. i don’t see how any one can compare this to lotr? not even close. apple and oranges. the only thing in common is the level of CGI. i can’t wait for rotk to come out.

bangs – WANKER!! ;^)

I’m so tired of people saying because you don’t like it, you don’t understand it. The two have nothing to do with each other.

If a take a shit on your front doorstep, you wouldn’t like it, it has nothing to do whether if you understood it or not.

And yes, I’ve taken philospohy, and understand the philosophy of the matrix. Te first one was brilliant and I thought the last two sequels still sucked. The story sucked too. It lagged heavly.

MDOG: The comparison goes for how the manage expectations of the trilogy…and how they deliver, mainly.

Oddly enough, I HATED the first one, didn’t see the second, but kinda liked it…I mean, I was bored and had time before the movie I went to see was starting (Texas Chainsaw…)

Greek…

I understand that you:

  1. Need to chew your food better

  2. Need to try adding some fibre or at least maybe some good, aged cheese to your diet

and last but certainly not least…

  1. Stop eating so damn much corn

I understand it and I still do not like it. Next time I find you squatting on my porch, I’m callin’ the cops!

~ George Carlin

I liked the first movie OK… I just dont like how so much is taken from Gibson books…
