I always enjoyed his acting, I mean he doesnt have a lot of range. Not like he could pull of a weak character or gay guy. Since the Matrix also he has just been absent. Besides the Predator movie that is.

Agreed. I give him credit for all of that…I just hate my favorite actors to let themselves go like that.
Back when The Saint came out, I was a fan of Val Kilmer…then he became a blimp and lost all of that action movie cred he had.
The movie Even Horizon is still one of my favorites…but Fishburne looks so different now from then it is like a different person.

The Wakizowski brothers have an insane programming for the information that gets put out in their movies. I watched it as a kid, probably 9 years old and instantly loved it. Going through life with my eyes open, I watched the movie again several years later…its incredible how many ignorant/blind people don’t see the philosophy in this movie.
the single and best quote of the whole movie is when morpheus tells neo the matrix is a blanket covering your eyes and senses…also the one where he says the world is nothing but electrical impulses telling your brain what to perceive. (I didnt use quotations because those arent the exact words…)
If anyone follows the Wakizowski brothers, V for vendetta I would almost call a continuation of the matrix, not story wise, but message wise.
