So, there’s about 20 mg of E in each cap?

Btw: if it’s mainly appetite suppression you’re after, pseudoephedrine might also do the trick.
You should be able to get it as an OTC decongestant.
Very cheap, too.
I have no idea whats in them and don’t know how to find out.
I got pulled in the airport with them in my case, they took them away and tested them (unmarked bottle). he brought them back and said they have no idea whats in them, and warned me to be carefull lol!
The appetite suppression isn’t really an issue, it’s the revved up metabolism that i’m after. Altho i have used the decongestant when i need to. We have a product here called panadol sinus which has pseudo ephedrine in, used that a few times.

Yep, we have a similar one over here.
The good ol’ EC(A) stack definitely has its use.
I remember having read studies, once, suggesting that long-term use might increase T4->T3 conversion.
Of course, one needs to have his nutrition down pat for thermogenics to be really beneficial and to help with getting long-term results.
Despite all those perks, I’d only use it short-term. This isn’t specifically directed at you, Marzouk, but to potential newbies reading this.
Ah, and while we’re at it:
In 2005 I’ve used EC for some time.
And in 2008 I experimented a bit with Y(ohimbine)C.
The resulting fat loss pattern was almost diametrical.
EC => lost belly fat last, was kinda hard at the end, after all that dieting; all quad heads visible, great quad/hammy separation, superb biceps/triceps separation, clean delt-pec-tie-ins, very good separation in my back. But still underbelly fat.
YC => lost the brunt of my belly fat first and the fat in my extremities took its sweet time
AFAIK, E and Y should never be combined, though.

That’s really interesting! Are there any studies about this or anything, or is it just what you noticed?
I’m trying to cut the ephedrine out (get it in 8mg tabs); it’s so addictive for working out (honestly, I’m not a junky haha). Been on it a long time just for training (not fat loss). I have noticed that my stomach fat takes “ages” to go (my avatar pic is me at my leanest…I actually hovered around 15% bf for most of my training). It seems like I have to get really lean these days (unlike before the ephedra) to flatten my stomach
^^ never really had the addiction to it, it is very good for a boost for training tho.
I remember in my gym for a few months they had a drink called ‘Heat seeker’. It was around an 8oz (250ml) with around a scoop’s worth of ‘‘STUFF’’ i asked what it was, n the guy in the gym said its the eqv of around 10 eca caps.
Me n a friend added water and drank half each.
2.5 hours of none stop hard lifting we left the gym buzzin of our tits!
Then… i crashed while in the bath lol, fell asleep for an hour then woke up. Then i picked up again and drove over to my friends house. He was sat on his couch buzzin like me. After about 5 mins we both crashed again n i dnt really remember what happend next. Damn that was some strong shit.
Damn i wish i could some how find out how much was in these caps i have.
Like FF said, I prefer the herbal version (no extreme buz, and no major crash afterwards). Right now I’ve got about a kilogram’s worth of ephedra (the whole herb that ephedrine was isolated from). I make a tincture out of it when I can, because you need around 9-15g of the whole herb to get a decent effect from it (which is quite difficult to take all at once as a powder/tea)…but don’t have alcohol (which once again, I distilled myself haha…shhhhhh) - you need around 40-50% alcohol for a better extraction, which you can’t get in the UK (strongest here is around 37.5% - vodka).
@its_just_me
Figures. If you’ve taken E(C|A) for way too long, you’re putting your body under a lot of stress.
Not cool (belly fat).
Where did you get your herba ephedrae from?
I got mine via a prescription.
I just make a tea out of it.
I’m a British person.
Not.
@Marzouk
10 times an ECA dose? I strongly doubt it.
Unless the people in your gym providing this are nuts.
I’ve once taken 70 mg ephedrine-hcl. Damn, my saliva almost felt like styrofoam. No kidding. And I was bouncing off the walls like spiderman.
So, you must’ve ingested about 100 mg ephedrine-hcl, each (if the claims are true).
Was there a happy ending? ![]()
Up until 2006 you could get herba ephedrae without a prescription in pharmacies over here.
Then, after someone put up a manual on how to make crystal meth out of, amongst other ingredients, herba ephedrae on wikipedia, all of a sudden this substance turned controlled.
An asthmatic friend of mine doesn’t think it’s funny.

Got mine from mountainroseherbs dot com…amongst other herbs from there (pretty keen on herbal medicine). It’s pretty sad when things like that have to be controlled, luckily it’s not like that here (yet)
Thanks for the warnings; has given me even more incentive to drop it. I have experience first hand the stress thing etc, in fact, having been taking ephedrine hcl for the good part of 3 years now, I’m really feeling the long term effects (adrenal fatigue which is a nightmare, stomach fat and the…erm…nevermind). Dosage before workouts have been = 24-32mg (which I thought was more safe than often recommended?)
If you have reasonably strong vodka (like around 40%), you can make a good tincture out of the herb (extracts more of the active ingredients than tea…so you don’t need as much and don’t have to waste as much). Just let the herb sit in about 3-5 parts vodka for 2 weeks and strain. Can boil off the alcohol at the end if you want and it won’t harm the extract. Honestly, you’ll be surprised at the difference
Hey guys, just checking in.
My weight hasn’t changed too much since last time i posted, but i think i definitely look/feel different.
Started adding more cardio in to my workout.
Starting running, sprints, stadium runs etc.
Trying to up in the intensity in the gym aswell, always pushing for that extra set. Diet is going ok.
Fucked the V-Diet off and trying to stick to a low carb, med fat, hi protein diet.
Less than 100g of carbs and fat and 200+ protein, hitting around 2000 cals a day.
Diet isn’t really that difficult, the trick is to keep it the same everyday so i don’t have to worry about what im going to eat. When i stop seeing changes guna cut out around 250 cals and see what happens.
Lets see if i can stick this out for a few months, guna put cheat days on the back burner for now until i’ve earned 1.
I’ll keep u updated.

Might wanna back this up with current photos comparable to the last ones you’ve posted.
Not trying to be an ass, here, but I guess you’re blogging away in TCA for a reason: sound feedback and progress validation.
Still using the ECA?
hey guys, came off the ECA used around 15 pills, coz my supply is short i pretty much decided to keep them for when i hit a plateau so i have something else in my arsenal to help me out.
I got a quick question. I’m around 20-25% bf at the moment, over the last few years of training i kinda neglected back and legs like a newb does, anyway now i’ve been training them consistently for the last 6 months or so. So i’m hoping i’ll as some decent mass to these body parts.
I’ve heard that 1lb of muscle burns between 50-100 cals per day. I’ve always been overweight and find it very hard to get lean.
Would attempting to add around 10lbs of muscle over the next few moths (mainly back and legs) via a clean bulk be beneficial? My reasoning is that have that extra muscle would give me the abilility to burn an extra 500-1000 cals per day and thus making it easier for me to drop weight when i decide to cut again.
Any ideas?

That sounds like hocus to me. That would mean someone with a measly 100 lbs of lbm would burn 5,000-10,000 calories a day, which would make it nearly impossible for anyone to ever make progress. At 20-25% body fat i don’t think many people would recommend bulking. I would just bite the bullet and cut down to a reasonable level of bodyfat.

I understand what u mean about the bf and not being a good idea to cut.
But as for 100lbs of lbm, remember that includes water, waste, blood, bone and organs. Not actual muscle tissue. Someone with 100lbs of ‘‘lbm’’ doesn’t have 100lbs of muscle.
For example. someone 200lbs at 20%bf with have 160 of lbm or 160lbs of their bodyweight isn’t fat.
What does your routine look like nowadays? days/frequency of bodyparts/exercises/sets/reps etc
Im using a 4 day splitat moment.
Each day is focused around 1 main movement with accesory exercises.
Squat
Ohp with bar
deadlift
flat/incline press
Pyramid up on all sets, 2 warmup 5/6 working sets usually working upto a 3-5 rm max.
Run my split until i feel i need a day off of have to work crazy hours normally i train 5/6 days a week for an hour or so.
This last week ive added 15mins of incline walking to the end of 4 workoutsva week and im going to increase by 5 mins every week til i hit around 40 mins.
You started the thread off saying you are at 25% bodyfat, and three months later you say you are still at around 25% bodyfat.
^ Kind of what I was thinking too lol
Sounds to me like you could be at a heightened level of stress and hormones are a bit out of whack (the point where weights don’t go up/or go down, and body fat stays the same for ages).
Don’t have to, but maybe consider taking 2-3 days off from exercise completely and eat “normally”. Maybe even eat a little bit more for just a couple of weeks. When you return you probably will get a rebound (fat loss again, and more energy).
In my opinion, the routine’s volume should be reduced a little while cutting so that your body can prioritise fat loss vs spending all it’s resources recovering (and often under-recovering due to diet). There’s a fine line…
^^ not bad advice actually, i fucking hate being the yo yo guy.
FWIW i have no idea what my bf is, I’m just guessing. Looks like the last 2 months have been a bit of a waste it seems.
