My shoulders are definitely going to have to adjust to the O-lifts and the handstand work. I felt them throughout tonight’s session. Good times ahead…

Today was a bad, but good day. Bad because I didn’t sleep well or long. Which, made my day long. As the time for work came upon me, I had little energy or focus, however, somehow I found myself in the gym anyway. Once in there, though, I found a spark of energy in the form of disgust.

I believe I’ve mentioned a dude I call “Rico Suave” in the past. Calls himself training a few females. More like training them to check into the hospital for hernias, blown out knees, and so forth… I won’t harp on this too much, but needless to say, I was approached by another dude who expressed the same sentiment about this fucknut. But…with that boost of motivation, I decided to work.

Hi Beast! Just read your post about the 100 rep squat session. Reminiscent of the GVT. My legs got wobbly doing 10x10 fs, rdl’s. I cannot imagine doing 100 reps straight through. Or maybe I can. Anyway, how the hell did you keep counting? You’re a big MF and I know 155 is pretty light for you, but WTF!?

Having lost a couple of days due to the meds, I was in rare form today. The music in my head has been on MAX volume, and I’ve just been moving non-stop all day. Probably wasn’t a good day to deal with the locals, either. It’s hard not to get angry when you are trying to help someone who doesn’t want to help themselves, and just complains.

It was that my boss got a rare glimpse of Mr. Black, as I started getting sick of the local. I don’t entertain whining well. Things got even more cheery during a meeting with some local landowners and an ANA rep. The ANA rep was inept. The government here is in it’s infancy. You don’t send sheep to the wolves’ den to ask for something. Just isn’t smart. So…we get to deal with the government directly. This will be fun.

As for the sleep issue, I think I’m going to try leaving the pills alone for a while. It’s pretty much a Catch-22, so I am going to say fuck it, and just do all in my power to break myself down to the point my body (mind) has no choice but to shut off. I don’t mind this, as I hate the fucking pills anyway. I don’t like depending on shit, and I don’t like feeling drugged or drunk. A small control issue there.

Moving on, I am finally “at home” with being THAT GUY in the gym here. When I enter, people move. When I’m working, people think long and hard about bothering me. But, I’m not a dick, if they have a question or need help, I’ll gladly answer or help. But there are those who come at me with bullshit…I give them a frozen shoulder.

I can’t help but wonder, can they not see me busting my ass? Keyed up to the point I might just go off? Hear me yell and grunt as I’m trying to lift bigger things?? See me beating the piss-poor sadness out of the heavybag? And you still want to come around me with some fuckshit… I had the good fortune of talking to one of the surgeons out here, and it reminds me of the phrase “Game recognizes game.” He pointed out my attitude and such in the gym, as he has the same thoughts.

Too many retards are among us, and they are all PT Superstars with their quarter-squats, six-inch presses, and limitless arm curls. AND THEY ALL USE UP THE FUCKING CHALK!!! I swear, one moose-knuckle called himself trying to walk off with the chalk I supply and was using…for FUCKING BARBELL CURLS!!! And it was just the bar, at that!!! I literally called out, “Are you fucking kidding me???”

With that bit of madness last night, then a promise made, I did sleep like the dead. I’m sure I’ll sleep hard again tonight. Before I detail why, I’ll say that I do fear injury, however, injuries can occur doing much less than that. To mitigate it some, I went with a lighter weight. I just thought about this last sentence…I’ve never been able to call 185 light when it came to squats. Especially with my right leg. Pretty cool… I’ll see about recording real soon. I’ve got a plan for that, actually.
