Why am I expressing frustration now? Well, I have various items I keep with me when training. Fat Gripz, a small bag of chalk, water, wraps, etc. It’d be silly and awkward to carry all of this without a bag of sorts…
maybe this is your gym nazi/not gangsta?
I might try the fanny pack and see what happens…

After another awesome weekend, it was again time to don the monkey-suit and perpetrate being “on-duty.” Lots of aimless wandering, talks with the new therapist, getting a puff of air blown in my eye, receiving the last of the shit I shipped from Afghanistan, and more aimless wanderings. I am surprised I didn’t just spend the afternoon in the gym, as I truly had nothing to do. Kind of a blessing and a curse, really. But, I’m not going to ramble on about it. No point to it, really.

thought of you guys when I heard this today

Loreena is always just flat-out enchanting. Love this lady’s music.

Woke up around 0130 this morning. Not sure why, but was wide awake. A choice had to be made, then. Go ahead and knock out my sprints, or do laundry. As the rain was coming down pretty good, opted for laundry. Around 0300, I managed to doze until my alarms went off. Time to work.

What is this deceit you speak of? I never said I was slow…:stuck_out_tongue: As for the sprints, I was too worried about not tripping to focus on time. That is a feat all by itself.

Hey there. Sounds like an interesting time since you’ve been back from Afghanistan. The post about the goofy gym rules had me laughing.

Good luck with your tango practice!

Hmmm…I must be stuck on stupid, cuz I can’t get YouTube vids to show on here. Oh well. This morning’s soundtrack consisted of a bit of Static-X’s “Monster.” Always an instant booster.

5 May 2011
Morning

Run/Sprints

300m x 3
600m x 2

With every inch of my body screaming at me, I figured that was good for now.

So, this morning was a major annoyance. Got a knock on my door last night after 10, with word that I had to take a PT test first thing this morning. My natural reaction was “WTF???” And that was with lots of merit, as I was in the clear, due to the deployment. But, with no choice, I went ahead and took it. I guess these motherfuckers expected me to fail, but the joke’s on them. I just did the bare minimum for all three events, although, I was hurting on the run.

27 April 2011
Morning

Army Physical Fitness Test
Pushup (2 minute time-limit)
40
Situp (2 minute time-limit)
45
2 mile run (17 minute limit)
16:40, with a minute rest in the middle of it. Started way too fast. Had to remember that it’d been a solid year since I’d run this thing on a consistant basis.

But, with it all said and done, I sent a mental middle-finger to the haters. Fuck this bullshit…
I remember having to takes those. Yuch.

5 May 2011
Evening

Deadlifts
300 x 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 7, 8, 9, 9

BB Rows (UH)
135 x 10, 10, 10, 7, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10 (The first 4 sets were done with Fat Gripz…donkey-dick.)

I was completely spent after this, and my grip was completely gone. So, I left. I’ve since re-introduced myself to Dos Equis, and am now getting ready to break out the Johnny Walker-Blue Label and Mr. Cohiba. Today is a good day for it, I suppose.

How the hell do you put the vids up!?! I’m salty as hell! Not really. Johnny, Gurkha, and Crown took care of that tonight…

Just go to youtube, find the video, copy the url at the top of the page, and then post it here in a line by itself (to avoid confusion) and it should work!

nice work, looking good

what is with ex greco people and bad forearms/extensors ?
I have it too both arms sucks.

lots of volume here, hills look sick.

So this morning, I woke up early (go figure), and decided a quick training session was in order. Playlist was a bit more upbeat. It’s going to be a FUCKING GREAT weekend. I get to reveal to the world that I can sing, just a tad bit! I’ve got my bag ready for all the panties that will be thrown my way! :stuck_out_tongue:
