i tried this routine, my calves hurt like i’ve never ever felt, but i gained about 3/4 of an inch over 3 weeks. twice over a 5 day cycle means your workout cycle is 5 days long, so day 1 you would do the first calf workout, then do no calf work day 2 or day 3, then day 4 do the second calf workout, day 5 do no calf work, then go back to day 1.
Nothingx’s explanation is correct. However, just to make it a little clearer for you, let’s say that your five-day cycle starts on Monday. Monday you do calves (the first calf workout). Tuesday and Wednesday you don’t work calves, then on Thursday you do the second calf workout. Friday is a rest day, then you start all over again on Saturday. Good luck with this routine - it’s a motherf***er!
