Same here. They are really pushing the 3D down peoples throats and it’s starting to trigger gag reflex. I think they should leave the 3D to animated movies…like How To Train Your Dragon, etc.
I haven’t seen very many movies in 3d…do these movies generally not look as good or is it just a personal thing that you guys don’t like them. Just curious
Avatar was done extremely well. But Clash of The Titans 3D was done in post production so it looked horrible. If the movie is filmed specifically for 3D it usually looks good.

Yeah, you end up missing stuff when too much shit is ‘jumping’ at you. There should be non-3d versions playing as well, no? I hear there are plenty of people who don’t enjoy the corny shades cult.

I am one of those people. I don’t think this was supposed to be a 3D movie which means it will suck in 3D. Good movies do not need to be in 3D. I do hope there are some non-3D showings, otherwise I will have to miss this one.
I also hope the characters hold on to some of their series qualities. It looks to have a more serious tone to it, and there is only so much that can be carried over from a cartoon to real people but they should still have the same characteristics.

Just because a movie is produced in 3D doesn’t mean you have to watch it in 3D. Plenty of the smaller theaters will project it as a regular movie, as they either can’t afford/don’t have the projectors to do so, just as they did with Avatar.

I just started the series. Am up to episode 4.
I’m really enjoying this. As in, laughing IRL. and the character and plot development is pretty on too.
It gets better. By the time they get to the episode where Uncle Iroh is honoring his dead son, you are pretty much a fan of just about every character.
…even though I still think that guy with the eye tattoo in his forehead deserved more back story and a bigger role.

Maybe, but I get the feeling that not knowing much about him added to his character. He was almost like an unstopable force coming out of nowhere you were just not sure how powerfull he really was. In the end only he could stop himself (kinda).
Season 2 is where Toph is introduced. She is great, she is my daughters favorite character. She stills runs around the house “earth bending” and “feeling” everybody with her feet.
