This isn’t directed specifically at Kali, but I can see impressionable sheeple (well over half of the US population) becoming obsessed about not being able to attain a so called natural body type, even after putting in all the hard and consistent work on diet and exercise.
This seems like a very weak claim. Few people would look like him when he was just getting out of jail even if they spent their whole lives working out…EVEN IF THEY USED STEROIDS.
That is why that argument doesn’t fly.
Genetics are still at the base of this and most of the people truly “upset” aren’t exactly “one cycle of test” away from looking like the people they are upset at.
Seriously, every guy here could use steroids and never look like Kali does right now…so why the HUGE focus on that in exclusion of the progress made?
We’ll never know though, will we? Since we don’t know how long or when he used steroids, we’ll never know what he should have looked like. This isn’t claiming he would have worked at any it any differently or to downplay the hard work he still had to put in to look like that, but now we have reasonable doubt about what he WOULD have looked like sans steroids.
Another example, Barry Bonds and Mark McGwire. Leaders of the pack pre-steroid days, but not beheamouths. Take some steroids and pretty much no one, except other steroid users, could come close.
Let’s say we never found out they were on steroids. Now you have all these professional baseball players, nearly as good as those two were prior to their steroid use, who’ll now never compete. They do everything they can naturally to try to match them and can’t do it. Ok, well I’ll just take some roids and continue training hard to give me an edge b/c I can never compete with these supposidly “natural” guys if I don’t.
See how this snowballs?
Again, if you are on roids, claim it so people can at least get some perspective.
