And as for the Jets, as I’ve already typed about 3 times now. It ain’t just two games. They beat ONE team with a winning record this season. Ours. A team that looks a lot different now than it did back then.
They should have never beat the greatest show on turf with marshall faulk and kurt warner. Their defense knew all of the rams plays.
But yah…the league is cut throat win or get fired with the quickness. I would be cheating in that environment and taking assloads of steroids. It would be cool to have the resources that the teams have to hire people to gather intelligence and I wouldn’t be surprised if they have software which disects each play and spits out a report.

A win is not a win. Bullcrap. And I’m also talking about the losses. Losses to all teams with records over .500 except the Pats in week 2.
I could go across any sport and tell you the teams that weren’t going to win anything of significance because they couldn’t beat teams with winning records during the regular season. That speaks volumes about a team’s strength, depth and quality.
I can not believe how many Jets fans just overlook the fact that the Jets were practically given a ticket to the playoffs that they had no business being a part of because the Bengals had nothing to play for in week 17 and rested their starters.
Did they make it to the AFC championship game after that free ticket to the playoffs? Sure. Do I personally think they way overachieved and had a great little run to make it to the AFC game once they got in the playoffs? Absolutely.
Their whole season this year has not been impressive at all. Never mind that they haven’t been able to beat teams with winning records. I counted at least 4 games against mediocre teams where the other team practically gave it away at the end to the Jets.
Trust me. You are not coming across as pessimistic at all. More like with blinders on to how good you think you’re team is. Yes, we shall see what happens the rest of the season.
