The Jets

last time I checked the Jets have SPLIT the season series with the Patriots? They’re 1-1.

also the comparison with sanchez and brady isnt legit… the season isnt over… The Jets COULD still win the SB. Sanchez COULD throw for less than 150 yards and 1 TD while being named MVP. Then how would you guys compare the two?

lulz
The Jets are 1-3 with good teams.

what does that have to do with my post?

Fact is, the Pats don’t have “it” yet. Stranger shit has happened, but I don’t see them as a Bowl winner. The Jets & Steelers are my top two to go to the bowl right now. Ravens offense is missing the balls and teh Colts are too beat up.
Extremely biased analysis. The Pats don’t have “it” yet but the Jets do??? Go look at any sports analyst online at any of the major sports sites (ESPN, Fox Sports, MSNBC, etc) that has typed anything about the Pats and Jets and see who they say has a “bunch of flaws” that were actually exposed again just this last Monday night and who is in much better position to make a Super Bowl run.

Even after this ultimate beat-down Jets fans are still delusional…
Yeah I’m a Pats fan. I know it seems impossible because I don’t just have blind love for them…

Thing is, could the Pats make a run? Sure. Is a top notch QB going to eat that defense alive? Yup. Look at the Colts game. Manning was one under thrown ball away from tieing it up. I just am too realistic/skeptical to drink the full cup of koolaid.

Pardon any spellling errors, it’s fcking early for me.

Beans is a big Patriots fan… incase you didnt know Randman
I dont think he cares, his view is Brady is the God among men in football, he can do no wrong. He is moments away from a SB, no matter he got his assed creamed last year by Baltimore that was somebody else’s fault. He is the only Pats fan everyone else sucks. Him and strungoutboy think we all suck.

I sure am. What a rookie season

Bradshaw already has him as a top five qb under 30. which very likely may be true, but 8 games into his rookie season and you got people saying this. Are you kidding me.

Well then to type that he’s a pretty shitty fan. Predicting the Jets will go to the bowl over the Pats, saying they don’t have “it” after a 45 to 3 beatdown. It’s not about drinking koolaid. It’s about being a fan with positive expectations. Like I said, based on this post u come across as a pretty shitty fan.

In TB’s second season in the NFL he became the youngest QB to win a Super Bowl…
“Brady was named MVP of Super Bowl XXXVI while throwing for 145 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions, becoming the then-youngest quarterback to ever win a Super Bowl”

Although he wasn’t officially the starter until the next year when they went 9-7 so you could consider that the first official year, and if so his second full year as a starter…well he won the Suber Bowl again, and was again the MVP.
End comparison.
lol, oh, easy then. All Sanchez has to do is win a super bowl. Simple

Haha, being honest, yeah I went back and actually checked on that after I posted.

Forgive my ignorance–I hadn’t realized TB had won a Bowl so early in his career.

Can’t hate, Brady is the man.

I submit, Brady is superior as a QB, and to be honestly, I’d be a very happy man if Sanchez turned out to be half the player Brady is and led his team in a similar way.

I have high hopes for Mark, though–he’s the best we’ve had and I think he’s a good fit for NY. We’ll see how it turns out.
No worries man! I will tell you from a Pats fan point of view, I’ve been watching the Jets over the last several years constantly improving their team. if Sanchez can put that loss behind him, it’ll say a lot about him and how he’ll be able to perform in the long run.

Dude I am a Cowboys fan and if you had participated in the NFL thread you would know this. I hate Pats and Philly with a passion, BUT I respect Beans as a Pats fan. You want to jump on guys for trying to support there teams and all you talk about is how great your team and QB is. You then want to use this one game as your proof of everything. You are so quick to point to others of drinking the koolaid and going into fandom but your team is not undefeated. Your team actually got beat by a team that has been a bottom of the NFL for years. At least the Jets lost to a quality team.

YOu sound like a rabid fan that is so quick to point out everyone else shortcomings. Carry on.

This is an adult way to discuss this. randman take notes.

He is the typical, annoying douchebag Boston fan…

But because I’m objective and realistic, I’m a shitty fan. LOL

Oh I forgot they beat the snot out of a good team monday… I mean lets forget the rest of teh 4 games left this year, the ass whooping the fucking Browns gave them and the 2 Playoffs games they would have to play just to get to Dallas, lets give them the trophy now…

lol

I hope the Pats do win out… The smart money is on one of the other two teams with good coaching, solid core group of veteran playmakers & more consistent defenses, winning out.

But then again, anyone in the NFL thread knows I’m not afraid to lose a bet either…

Huh? What the f*ck are you talking about? I was jumping on him because he was disrespecting his own team and putting up the Pats rivals as more legitimate Superbowl contenders when most analysts and fans (polls that have been taken) would say the opposite. I’m glad you respect him as a Pats fan but based on this one post I don’t.

Your reading a lot into just a few posts that I made. I was simply calling out the ridiculousness of trying to put Sanchez in Brady’s league AND I was calling out a supposed Pats fan saying out team doesn’t have “it” but the Jets do. Just ridiculous.

What the hell are you talking about?!? Dude, your posts are absolutely retarded. This judgment is not based on one game. The Jets have barely beat teams with losing records in at least 4 different games this season. They have a losing record against winning teams this season. The Pats have a much better track record this season against teams with winning records. This is not earth-shattering analysis. Again, you can read this same opinion at most major sports sites. It has nothing to do with drinking Kool-aid.

You obviously are just typing crap with passion. Do some freakin research dude. Yes, the Pats lost to a bad team. Any given Sunday right? Look at what the Jets have done objectively this season and stop reacting emotionally.

Sorry cant do that breaking up quote thing.

I obvioulsy am not the only one who thought you were over the top so dont act all suprised and start making excuses. I dont have passion about this, really its the Jets and Pats.

What major sports sites? ESPN yea no bias there.

I never discussed the strengths and weaknesses of these teams in this thread I actually gave Irish a hard time for even starting this thread. We have a NFL thread that we do discuss that in. So you want too discuss in an adult manner the pros/cons strengths/weakness of your team then come over there. If not fine could care less.

Nice comeback. You know nothing about me but nice retort.

Realistic? No, you’re not. I stand by my comment. You’re a pretty shitty fan. Who the hell says their most hated competition has “it” when the Pats don’t when a majority of the analysis out there goes completely against what you are saying. You are ill-informed and genuflecting to the supposed greatness of the Pats competition. Read my post above to the mental giant. I’m not going to type out again why the Pats have a better chance than the Jets to get to the Superbowl.

I can not believe you are a fan when you speak so derisively of their accomplishments this year. It’s dumbfounding…

Who the hell said they were going to win the Superbowl?!? I’m calling out your derisive comments about the team. I’m calling out you giving the hated competition a better chance of making it than the supposed team your support when most other educated sports enthusiasts have a completely opposite opinion based on some objective data like how each team has fared against winning teams and losing teams this season.

My God, I thought the NBA thread was bad but most of these guys are reasonably educated compared to this morass of mental giant analysis here.

Dude, learn how to spell. You’re not helping your case with me on your mental prowess. Ok, what ever you say. Over the top because I’m calling out a Sanchez vs. Brady comparison. The only other response I got is one of defense from Countingbeans, the awesome Patriots fan. Mmmkay.

Do a google news search. Go to ESPN, go to CBS Sports, go to MSN Fox Sports, go read an article…I know you can do it.

Good stay out of the NFL thread, Barney. I do read about all the teams, all I listen to is NFL sat radio. I am not a child so dont like to argue with dumbasses on here so this will be my last response to you. Good luck with life because obviously you are really happy with yours.

Soooo… Miami wins out and Jets lose to Chicago and Pitt. Who’s in?

Definitely possible, Miami only plays detroit and buffalo. Then NE but its the last game of the season and at that point it wouldn’t be surprising if Brady doesn’t play.
