last time I checked the Jets have SPLIT the season series with the Patriots? They’re 1-1.
also the comparison with sanchez and brady isnt legit… the season isnt over… The Jets COULD still win the SB. Sanchez COULD throw for less than 150 yards and 1 TD while being named MVP. Then how would you guys compare the two?

Dude, honestly… Your going to put Sanchez, after 1.75 years in the league, in that same category as Brady and P. Manning?
Really?
I mean why not put him up with Aikman and Marino while we are at it.
Fuck it, impeach Obama, Sanchez got that shit too…

hahahah that’s the kind of shit that I’ve had to deal with for the last 12 weeks that led me to start this thread. Exactly that kind of stuff.
Dude is still a nobody as far as I’m concerned. Lots of good QBs come in and out of the league. What he does over the next decade will show where he’s ranked.

I never compared him to Brady… I was saying that the comparison that other people are making “isnt legit”.
I wouldnt put him in the same category as brady or manning at all
He probably could do just as good of a job as Pres as Obama (maybe better) but lets not get into that… dont want this thread being moved over to the black hole that is PWI lol

okay, pretty sure we’re on the same page.
42 point ass whooping isn’t minor Ninja. Maybe not a deal breaker, but that shit isn’t minor, lol.

It would be interested if the Jets and Pats meet again in the playoffs… Who knows?
It’s hard to beat a team twice in a season…
Look at it this way:
Top teams in the AFC:
Jets
Steelers
Ravens
Colts (no way the Jags pull off teh division)
Pats
And they have all played each other.
Fact is, the Pats don’t have “it” yet. Stranger shit has happened, but I don’t see them as a Bowl winner. The Jets & Steelers are my top two to go to the bowl right now. Ravens offense is missing the balls and teh Colts are too beat up.
I think Jets/Steelers would be a better game to watch for the rest of teh country.
Plus Boston fans are so spoiled, I don’t know if this city could take another ring without exploding with doucheness.

I’m not much for stat checking or placing too much weight on comparisons of stats–however, I’m curious as to how Brady’s second year would compare to Sanchez’?

In TB’s second season in the NFL he became the youngest QB to win a Super Bowl…
“Brady was named MVP of Super Bowl XXXVI while throwing for 145 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions, becoming the then-youngest quarterback to ever win a Super Bowl”
Although he wasn’t officially the starter until the next year when they went 9-7 so you could consider that the first official year, and if so his second full year as a starter…well he won the Suber Bowl again, and was again the MVP.
End comparison.
lol, oh, easy then. All Sanchez has to do is win a super bowl. Simple
Haha, being honest, yeah I went back and actually checked on that after I posted.
Forgive my ignorance–I hadn’t realized TB had won a Bowl so early in his career.
Can’t hate, Brady is the man.
I submit, Brady is superior as a QB, and to be honestly, I’d be a very happy man if Sanchez turned out to be half the player Brady is and led his team in a similar way.
I have high hopes for Mark, though–he’s the best we’ve had and I think he’s a good fit for NY. We’ll see how it turns out.

but for cereal… I do like Sanchez. I’m a USC fan and I’ve thought sanchez was the man for a while. He is obviously NOT on the same level as Brady but who in their right mind could compare a second year player to, arguably the best QB in the NFL? Thats retarded… Like i said before… wait till the season is over or wait till these players careers are over before you compare.
People cant compare Sanchez’s second year to Bradys second year because Sanchez hasnt finished his yet lol

Extremely biased analysis. The Pats don’t have “it” yet but the Jets do??? Go look at any sports analyst online at any of the major sports sites (ESPN, Fox Sports, MSNBC, etc) that has typed anything about the Pats and Jets and see who they say has a “bunch of flaws” that were actually exposed again just this last Monday night and who is in much better position to make a Super Bowl run.
Even after this ultimate beat-down Jets fans are still delusional…

Who the hell thinks Marky Mark can win on the road several games in a row? thats what it will take if they crawl in as the wild card.
won’t happen ladies, that 25.5 year old average defense of the Patriots is getting better every week.
McCourty is suddenly challenging Suh for Defensive Rookie of the Year. He’s one behind Samuel for the league lead. Look at all the rookies contributing, they get better with more practice and more games. Spikes, Cunningham on the D, hernandez and gronk at TE. Its a good time to be a pats fan.
