I expect nothing. But don’t be surprised if you get called out because you respond to something without actually reading it.
I know what you answered, but you answered it to someone who was posting proof that those reporters were there (to someone who didn’t believe it).
Correct. But context is everything.
It’s not about me being surprised; it’s about me caring. I don’t. It’s the internet. I’ll survive.
Good for you!
(but if you don’t care you really should stop wasting time replying)
Have a great weekend and a good life.
I don’t care if I get called out.
Anyone reading your comments would agree with that statement.
I will go enjoy life and wish you all the best.
I don’t know why you feel the need to share that. Are you trying to convince me, or yourself?
It’s June 9th, Nazi Boy.
How about don’t take hostages in the first place and then turn them into slaves (doing chores for free and “housing” them against their will)?
Arabs love slavery.
Is anyone going to be watching the Euros?
I find it difficult to understand how 270+ people could be killed in order to rescue 4 people? All with small arms, no aerial bombs/missiles.
I mean, let’s take a flyer and say there were 200hamas militants guarding the hostages (unlikely)… That means 70+ civilians caught stray bullets? Well that’s horrific.
Or, did IDF helicopter miniguns just burst on anything that moved? Kill em all, let their God sort em out later.
What about the “civilians” holding the hostages in slavery?
It turned into a roaming street battle as the Israelis tried to get out. Hamas could have chose to let them leave peacefully rather than risk Palestinian lives. Israelis didn’t have the choice to leave peacefully.
I thought I read reports they were evac’d on helicopters. I’m not discounting the need to rescue hostages, or that some collateral damage will occur. But JFC 270+ people killed by small arms in one-go is crazy. Tough to believe any care for civilian lives was taken (on either side).
They had to get the choppers!
On the one hand, at least this operation had a tangible outcome that everyone (who isnt evil) can celebrate. The safe recovery of civilian hostages.
On the other hand, again, 270+ people including dozens of children and very likely 100+ civilians killed. That is absolutely horrifying.
Realistically, are the children who died in this operation any less innocent than the hostages who were rescued. It’s fucking heartbreaking.
The 270 number is from Hamas. Can’t take that at face value. And why keep the hostages near “innocent” people?
Moreover, what “innocent” family would agree to keep Israeli prisoners by choice? My guess is they were forced to by Hamas or they are terrible humans too.
