I think it gets confusing really quickly - is an immigrant to Israel considered a Jew? Is an ethnic descendant who converted to Mormonism a Jew? If a white red-headed resident of Ireland converts to Judaism, are they a Jew?
I don’t know enough to have an answer, but the fact that a nation, a phenotype, and a religion all share the same title seems to lead to issues.
I’m not Jewish and at one point kind of assumed that the Jewish victim mentality was unfounded. The events on October 7th and since have convinced me that there are just lots more assholes in the world than I assumed.

You have to factor in you are using English words to describe a people who have their own language. In Italian, the nation would translate to Israel (Israele, which existed as a nation thousands of years ago), the people are Hebrews (ebrei), and the religion is Judaism (ebraismo, or literally the religion of the Hebrew people).

All I said was that it is highly unlikely that all of those reporters were randomly there at 6:30 in the morning unless they knew about it beforehand. And if they knew about it beforehand and did nothing then they are just as bad as the terrorists.

To be clear, at no point did I say that the Israelis knew beforehand. I spoke ONLY about the reporters from Gaza that were a part of the atrocities.

Whichever reporters were there (and yes, they were all from Gaza as far as I know) then the fact that they knew about it beforehand makes them just as guilty as the other terrorists.

I replied why would it be weird to have reporters covering a news worthy event. If the question is how did they know something news worthy was going to happen then it’s obvious they were told by Hamas since Palestine reporters work for Hamas.
