The Israel War Thread

I think Sun Tzu said that.

It’s like those movies where the villain reveals his plans and motives to the hero before killing him. The reason given is that he might as well tell him since he’s going to kill him anyway. I would think the fact you are going to kill him anyway is a reason to just kill him without the whole speech.

Meanwhile, in the real world you have a potential conspiracy with the assassination of JFK. But there is no confession, no documents revealing the truth. The same with MLK and RFK. The same with 9/11. You have theories but no smoking gun.

With the Jews however, they document their every insidious move. Think of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. The Jews are the arrogant Bond villain telling the world about their nefarious plans.

There they are, hiding in plain sight among the bookshelves throughout the US.

Oh yes. The liar’s paradox. This is off subject, but there are not many opportunities to point to how the KJV handles the liar’s paradox, which is very difficult in today’s English.

Titus 1:12, “One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, the Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.”

Note the KJV says “alway.”

“Alway” is the accusative case and, as such, separates the accuser from the accused.

“Always” is the genitive case would relate the subject to the object.

This is just confusing, as it seems as if English is not your primary language, or for some reason you believe that your opinion could change the course of history.

Exactly. Is he saying he personally would not put pressure on them or is he saying that they should not be pressured at all to release the hostages? He obviously has some fear or aversion to taking a position.

It’s funny how he refers to what a gay man would endure in Gaza as bullying, when it would be more correct to say murder.

Only cowards are afraid to take a position

Nah. I like the good old fashioned substances. Opioids, alcohol, cocaine, benzos you know- The classics.

Kids these days. Think beating their dicks is a life threatening affliction.

You realize every nation’s intelligence agencies use deception.

Yes. Deception is a tactic of war. But why do people use deception in the conversation with one another? Are our forum discussions “keyboard warfare” now? I just cannot see the value in being intentionally vague in a conversation, unless my point of view is too weak to stand on its merits.

And you should have asked instead of wondering. Simply put, I am too stupid to know Hebrew and all its nuances and Greek and all its nuances. That said, I have both a Hebrew Interlinear Bible (Old testament) and a Greek Interlinear Bible (New Testament.)

It is very challenging checking things in the Hebrew with the English reading from left to right and the Hebrew reading right to left.

I am better with the Greek, and know enough to know that the Greek does not use the indefinite article (a, and an). As when the Jehovah witnesses take the liberty to add an indefinite article in front of “God” in John 1:1. Using this strategy they can claim Jesus was just another God.

I also know that the Greek syntax supports the feasibility that the Johannine Comma should be included.

All that garbage said, I believe that I only need the KJV to know the precise word of God. The KJV translators studied Greek and Hebrew from their youth. Some specializing in Greek and some Hebrew. The were the most schooled men in all of England, as the talent pool for theology wasn’t remotely as lean then as it is today. Engineering, science, computer technology, economics, etc. rob from the intelligence pool, leaving few to study theology.

Think about this: What was the international language when the Old Testament was written? What was the international language when the New Testament was written? And What is the international language today? Do you know that in every commercial airport in the entire globe, if the pilot requests for the tower to use English, they must do so. That pretty much means international language.

iirc, I only mentioned it with you and twojarslave after he had and you had brought it up twice. That’s not “falling back on a technically”

I didn’t notice you asking me if I am intentionally vague or not. With zecarlo I have been at times. I don’t think I have with anyone else in this thread. Maybe I did and just don’t remember or didn’t notice.

Maybe. I didn’t see the downside to hope/doubting. I saw potential downsides to being sure too soon.

I prefer to give people their space, lots of it.

I suppose I may have been intentionally vague with you right around the time you got upset. I didn’t see it that way until now. The way I see it, I did write that question in between the lines. It may or may not have been noticed, by you or any set of different people. That way, a non answer couldn’t have been taken to mean anything, as your honor is something I’d rather preserve.

I don’t want as much trust here as a man could possibly get. I prefer to be regarded with a small to medium small degree of suspicion, by most, for the most part. Other people’s accusations of me are there own responsibility. I don’t owe it to everyone to deny them when they’re wrong. If/when I do, I consider it as a courtesy, usually.

I don’t think there was one and only one

I don’t think there was one and only one

English here is fair enough, but not perfectly accurate.

Please don’t do that. Humbleness is good, but I’ve recently come to realize that false humbleness is true pride.

If I ask a question to which garbage is the best answer, just tell me that it’s a flawed question along with why, please

It can be, but doesn’t have to

You have opinions of me and how I operate but the fact is that you made a dishonest claim.

I have been told that I am a descendant of Muhammad (saw), which would make me some part Arab.

That could be the end of it if you say so, but just to be clear I haven’t made the counter claim specifically. I don’t know how Arab I am nor do I know how Arab you are.

And it had nothing to do with playing a race card in the first place - just pointing out your dishonesty and inconsistency

No interest means I wouldn’t even if I could.

English is my primary language

I was saying that I personally wouldn’t.

Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. I am not afraid of being either understood or misunderstood by the humans. I have some fear of being responsible for some degree of misunderstanding.

You’ve said the above after I’d taken two positions simultaneously on the same issue without contradicting myself. I guess that’s supposed to make you appear brave

It always has been so maybe it does. Even the Egyptian pharaohs used PR tactics.

So have a billion other Muslims. You are also a descendant of Adam and Eve, so maybe you’re an Israelite as well.

There you go. It could very well be zero, you have no clue. My people come from a land that was conquered by Arabs and there are still mosques there, converted into churches, and remnants of this Arab past are also found in our language, cuisine and culture.

Because who are you anyway? The better question is would you apply that pressure if you were in a position of influence.

Well… you totally missed my point. Simply put, I don’t need to know any Hebrew or Greek (or Latin) to know what God said. Nothing humble there at all. That is simply what I believe. I have the word of God in the King James Bible.

Your question was not garbage. It was a valid question. If fact I have been asked that many times. If you don’t know, ask.

The garbage is the fact that I felt I needed those interlinears to defend the KJV against the accusers of the KJV. They are of zero value (garbage) to me for anything else.

@punnyguy - he’s doing it again…
