The GRAPPLER!

Ok,

What the hell is the grappler, by the looks of the picture with louie in it is two olympic barbells attached to a sled like base that you push and manipulate.

Anyone tried it or know anything about it?

You put barbells into the base and they’re free swinging. You can do various movements with it. I think it got its name from the motions a grappler would use to grab his opponent. It’s a cool little piece of equipment.

i hadnt seen that site since the update…man he is selling alot of equipment now some preety diffirent ideas hugh…bm

He is quite an innovator! I took a look at that “treadmill”. Does anyone know how that piece functions? The photo was a bit small.

ZEB its a non electrical treadmill that you can attach bands to for resistance.

The tred sled is sick. I used one with variable resistance and a tackle dummy attached to it. Great for football and conditioning for a lot of sports

Scrappy,

What makes it different than any other treadmill? What are the main differences?

Zeb- You power it yourself. The tread dosn’t move unless you make it move.
This is an incredible addition to any gym.

Are there any Canadian sites where I can purchase a westside box squat? I find ordering from their American site gets really expensive when you add in the exchange rate and duty tax.

is the grappler the same as the hurricane (sorinex) ???

the seem to be based on the same design, the grappler looks like its been thrown together with junk, while the sorinex one looks like a legit piece of equipment…

also what role would these pieces play in the training of a strength athlete?

GPP??
special strength??
ME?
DE?

glad to see that i’m not the only one that hadn’t seen some of the new stuff that louie has available, mind you chances of seeing any of them in my gym are a big fat zero!
