The Flame-Free Confession Thread

Looks like there is a large following of the “veggies sucks” group on T-nation.

Im the opposite. I love my vegetables. I feel it makes most of my meals more tasty, enjoyable and increase satiety. Cabbage, cucumbers, pumpkin and tomatoes are my favorite.

one of the few veggies i eat

I like broccoli it just wasn’t convenient at the time. Let’s see… broccoli orrrrr… a whatacatch fish sandwich followed by a double meat A1 thick and hearty burger. No brainer.

I do, but for some reason barely eat it. Same goes for most veggies, I like them quite a bit but for some reason am bad about it.

I try to eat broccoli daily because I think it’s good to eat green things. It’s also easy to get here. 2lb bags of broccoli florets or I can get 3lb bags of the California mix (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots).

I love broccoli and most veg, I find it a great palate cleanser while eating, plus research backs up eating broccoli, cauliflower and other green vegetables with most protein helps uptake and all other benefits eg. Antioxidant properties etc

Also my confessions are;

I have never done deadlifts
I only dumbbell bench
I only dumbbell Squat
And I honestly find it impossible to cut, as soon as I start lifting I have to get bigger and stronger, I just can’t change the way I think/train

I know a few people (my wife included) who are in love with Subway cookies. I don’t have a big sweet tooth, but I do see the appeal!

I’ve turned into a veggie lover over the course of the past few years of cleaning up my diet.

Now it feels like to be considered a complete meal it must have a protein source and vegetables. Beyond that it depends on my goals.

I like veggies just fine, and eat some variety of them everyday, but I have deciced that if I am away from home and haven’t had time to pack a lunch, it’s better to eat junk food than no food at all. It’s been years since I have let myself do this.

Dont get me wrong…Im not a advocate of the Heavy use of PED’s. I honestly use to be pretty hard core against it. But as I have gotten older and wiser I have mellowed on it .To be blunt and being honest…I just dont give a damn about it! Besides what every a mature adult wants to do and it doesn’t cause anyone one else pain and suffering so be it.
Besides if your worried about what someone may or may not be taking ,your probably not worrying enough about yourself. Lets be honest what every a person might be doing probably isn’t in most cases going to impact your world significantly .

Now mind you the only thing I still do get butt hurt regarding the subject…is when guys that are “ON” who enter organisations that are suppose to be Drug Free and advertise themselves as such .( WTF man) Other than that my view is that it is as all good.

What would U2 sound like if they decided to do an Adele cover? I think it would be:

Hmmm… not entirely accurate. There should be an additional guitar track with random ebow sustained single notes played with searing emotion and depth only playable by a true virtuoso.
