I always wonder if this happens to anyone else.
Mentioning food, theres that thing that happens when I switch to liquids (kind of like a v-diet of sorts), after a certain amount of time, almost everything else I buy that’s solid, I taste everything in it.
And I usually don’t like it. So I just eat the tried and true basics extremely bland. Chicken, rice, veggies, all that Jazz, but no seasoning, I’ll just eat it. Bland as all outdoors.
At my job, I tried the brisket sandwiches we have and I became angry with how much salt I could taste. Even. In. The damn. Bun. I tried a Sundae… just tasted like frozen sugar. Tried a Hotdog, salt, salt, salt. How people order truckloads of that shit I will never know.
It’s kind of a love-hate thing. With liquids, clean- up time and cooking is pretty much nonexistent. On the other hand, solid food in general starts to taste odd.
I was thinking I might be lacking in a few nutrients or something, so I ask my husband what he thinks and he just says, “Shit. Most food that’s sold and consumed…is shit”. What would we do without Husbands lol
I’m actually going to request a confession from someone,
So… @T3hPwnisher, confess… Your blog is actually one huge troll job to get people to look at that guy squatting on the bosu ball over and over again, isnt it!? ISNT IT!?
I confess that making that absurdist theme in my blog has made it that I only need to think about 2 out of the 3 photos I put in a blogpost.
Also, I am traveling today, just went through a 3d body scanner for security, and I confess that I am WAY too proud of the fact that my traps set off their scanner. Walk through and they are both lit up on my image. The security guy was pretty puzzled about what to look for.
I don’t if this is just an internet-addict thing, but I have a ‘point of no return’ with undersleeping. If I know I won’t get at least 6 hours, I just go “screw it” and stay up stupid late.
Case and point, it’s one minute past midnight and I have to be up by 3. I could have slept an hour ago.
Cutting trees at the sister in law’s house. Forgot chain oil. Canola keeps the chain cooler, costs less and makes the wood smell like French fries when it burns. Just don’t eat it. I hear it’s made of rape seeds. #rapeculture
Ran out after processing a 35 ft maple tree about 4ft thick. Didn’t seem that much faster. Not even going to adjust the feed rate. Usually my little trim saw feeds one chamber of chain oil per tank of 35:1 mix.
Yeah, it was a good day, the only reason I got to relax on the beach was because I started work extra early, got up at like 4 am for work and there was a heat warning for the afternoon so we made quick work of our job.
Wow, ppl are insane, lol. That sucks big time, I swear more and more idiots think this world was made to revolve around them. I hope things get easier for you there, you must have your patience constantly tested. As for your supervisors, they definitely don’t sound like they are in the right job position, how can they supervise anything if they can’t even take care of themselves?
I’ve read that when ppl cut out almost all sugar out of their diet, normal things that you wouldn’t think are sweet have a sweetness to them like potatoes was one example. Also have heard similar experiences from ppl I know IRL that cut sugar out and everything started tasting too sweet. I could never cut sugar out, especially with coffee so I’ve never experienced this. Most of us ruin our tastebuds sensitivity by eating shitty food on the regular.
I didn’t say that! But oil like that tends to get gummy over time. It will evaporate and leave behind a horrendous film. So, basically if you don’t wash it all out before you put your chainsaw up for the winter, next year you will be buying a new chainsaw
Nah. That’s my sister in law’s swingset she’s getting rid of. Nephew just went to the army and she’s cleaning house. No home phone. No internet. Very minamalist type. Having me take trees out that aren’t even dead yet.
If I build anything like that it’ll be a fallout shelter.
How are those tiny houses working in LA? I was reading that the mayor was fighting to change housing laws to encourage construction.
