Don’t listen to that guy, rumour has it he takes steroids.
I’m 94kg and I’m small (but also fat)
Jesus it’s getting worse ![]()
I’m going to have to set my avatar to ant man
I’m 93 kg, and I’m friggin enormous.
Lol - considering the rate of prigress he was making with me, you’d be amazed how many texts/email I have from him detailing all his “I messed up”, or “I couldn’t do this exactly” moments. Still, when yourevthat heavy, and pretty sedentary (I don’t mean this as anti-powerlifting, merely that the volume of work, rep range, and this guy’s obvious lack of any cardio) all it takes is a Pretty straight forward plan to get movement. The fact that I adjusted his training to work around his big lifts while adding volume to assist weight loss and trgeted certain nutrients al his performance wouldn’t take a hit was extra… He actually bragged online about a new PR a couple of months on my plan,… of course now that he’s lighter am realizing that he’s not a great PLer, he’s blaming the weight loss for his strength levels ![]()
But yeah,…obviously he kept going, with my spreadsheets as a very good basis for anything he wanted to change (and I provided a 3 page list of “substitutions”)and it’s beena pretty good run so far,.. but at 5’7 tops and still close to 240 lbs (with far far less muscle mass than he realizes!) he’s still not the weight loss expert he’s now trying to be in his videos. It’s all marketing, and smoke and mirrors as the saying goes.
Of course behind the smoke and mirrors is the huge list of people he has stolen from, screwed over, taken advantge of,. and they’re all professionals, former partners, clients, employees… it’s pathetic.

Any chance of confronting him, or know anyone who is able too?
I mean if its small fry fair enough, but its peoples livelihood at stake, then why isnt anyone doing anything about it?
Probably because it’s the internet. Stu would come off badly if he did it - even though he’d be accurate. It would take a bigger fish to call him out and have the desired effect.
To be fair I think flip acknowledges himself as a LW/MW competitor(weighs in the 200-215 range), who by relation to Halfthor Bjornson is small. Also if you’re under 200 lbs and not very lean, most people won’t see you as large.
To make sure this is by no means taken negatively, I’m 180-185, 12ish% body fat. No one has ever called me “large”. Closest comments I’ve heard are “tall”, “long reach”, “bigger than I thought with clothes on”, “bro do you lift, tell me about what you’re doing I don’t want to get too big”,and “thighs look silly next to your toothpick ankles”.
Second to last probably stings the most, like I’m the poster boy of looking somewhat fit but not too muscular or lean.
I think the 4th wall between “reality” and “the internet” is very quickly deteriorating where people now realise that there actions of what they say and do online has repercussions offline.
Especially with this twat essentially rebranding a product of someone else’s knowledge and passing it off as there own, its effectively plagiarism
The use of a secondary account not traceable to your own is very effective, essentially a catfish account that provides factual evidence to prove that this person is a lying scumbag
Yeah that’s what I tell myself, everything is relative haha
I can’t tell you how many times it has happened other than many, when you just move on and go about your business, then a few years later hear from someone “Did you hear about so-and-so”?
When someone is their own worst enemy the best thing to do is let them be themself. They’ll do more damage than anybody else ever could and you don’t have to lift a finger.
As I get older I find that people around me are getting more stupid by the day.
In one my photos during my last comp my mom commented on how big my thighs where, but that I need to start working on my calves cause they look tiny compared to my thighs. Years of therapy and many synthol injections directly into my calves later I’m relatively ok, but still have nightmares.
This is pretty good… yeah, it’s not like no one knows, I get DMs from people I don’t even know whenever this “coach” posts anything patting himself on the back for his Weight loss and trying to be the expert in suckering new business -lol
Jason blaha took the famous 5x5 routine, added barbell curls and positioned himself as an expert. John “doe” here took 5 months of my updated weekly spreadsheets, my 3 page articles of options/food substitutions that I send all my clients, my method for tracking progress despite fluctuations, and even all my emails/texts of tips and tricks (which he has then listed on his social media as his own-lmao) because he was always traveling and had a horrible history of being unable to follow a plan and ran with it… I’m sure If i hadn’t publicly blasted him after he refused to acknowledge my role that he’d be even further along because Anyone who knows him will tell you how mentally weak and undisciplined he is.
Still, it’s common knowledge if you talk to anyone who is not a newb/paying member of his gym that his entire reputation (at least anything positive) is built on other people.
Coupled with what he’s done outside of the actual training stuff, it’s just a matter of time before he completely buries himself…

Confession: Even though I have no idea who Stu is talking about, I really, really want to know. Bonus Confession: I love watching people that leech off of other people, steal their ideas, methods, etc. turn into a train wreck when called out on it, I feel that every bit of discomfort, every hard question they get, and every lie they have to remember is earned, part and parcel, by themselves.
You my friend would not make a good detective…
I would point out all the clues, but you ain’t leeching off my detective work.
Yep. I don’t know the guy personally, but some peoples are composed almost entirely of character defects. Time does terrible things to them.
Cutting trees we used to have some great working relationships with other tree co’s, custom home builders, landscapers, etc. Then there was the one crew that everybody knew of badly. Basically grifters with chainsaws. If there is one field that is exceptionally unforgiving (brutally) its tree cutting. No one was surprised when their REALLY BAD story ended up on the local news.
Just as it was no surprise when training-unrelated accusations started coming out of everywhere and another very prominent PLing site removed all of his articles. Respectful People who understand how important their reputation is don’t want to be associated with shady sorts, especially to the extent this individual has conducted himself over the years.
