I’ve never heard of the term high pulls used interchangebly with upright rows.
Same. High pull is an assistance movement to the clean and an upright row is a upper body movement.
At the top of a pull, the shoulders are externally rotated:

At the top of an upright row, most people will internally rotate:

The internal rotation is asking for trouble. Taking a wider grip will limit the amount of internal rotation.
Wow, apparently next time I’ll have to put pics too if I wanna get them likes ![]()
Well, likes were probably born so that people wouldn’t have to reply only saying “I agree.”
Generally, if someone disagrees with you or has something to say against your argument, they usually have reasons to back that up, so a full post is due.
Here I was just joking about the fact that someone else basically said the exact same things as I did but added images and got some likes, whereas my post got largely ignored.
Nothing too serious
I like to do upright rows on a low pulley cable setup, standing a couple feet away. Then it’s like a combination of pulling up and back. It feels better on my shoulders.

And now people on the street must be wondering what the hell is so funny on my phone ![]()
Is that you? You’re a lot more attractive than I had originally thought… ![]()
Silly.
Although those are my hockey gloves and stick, that’s not me.
She looks under fed and under age…
She wolfs down a Baconator combo from Wendy’s in a blink of an eye, and definitely not underage,
Nice five hole.
Is she trying to hide her face from the smell of the gloves?
Underaged? Not with those legs. Looks 45-50.
Lol good job!
You’re off, lol.
What’s wrong with 45-50 !! Still plenty of mileage left ![]()
there is a second pumping iron… I only found out now…
There’s also a ladies version.
