Yesterday I drank:

2 beers
2 glasses of champagne
2 glasses of red with the meal
4 whisky and sodas
3 cognacs

Got sent to bed around 10pm, slept like a baby for 10 hours and feel ready to do it again today. Damn i love Christmas!

I admit last night I got fed up and lost my temper… My wife is H.R. (along with a few other tittles) for a small local company of 70 people. Well yesterday she sent a large group text wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. At 11:00 o’clock last night lying next to me in bed she got a phone call of either a girlfriend or a wife of one of her employees. It was one of those deals I assume that she was keeping tabs on her boyfriend/husband. So, when my wife answered her phone this dub twit started to grill my wife on whom she was … my wife went all professional and explained that she was H.R. at the company and had sent everyone that text. Well this dumb twit was not believing it,Obviously the women in question has trust issues going on regarding her significant other. Finally I got fed up. I leaned in close and spoke very loud so that the dumb twit could hear“Don’t worry lady, the only one she is Fucking is me!!” Which in turned pissed off my wife and I got lectured and reminded by my wife she is H.R. and had to remain professional.Needless to say my Holiday did not end on a good note.

Well I got through half a jar of moonshine and then half a bottle of rum slept well and woke up still drunk this morning, don’t think I’m cut out for drinking anymore

I’ve never listened to music when I lift. Cardio on the other hand, essential.

As someone with a wife that ran on the treadmill in the garage while I lifted, I too found listening to cardio essential for lifting.

I just got my first piece of cardio equipment for my garage gym and I’m throwing a tv on the wall tonight… I need something to look at other than my wife’s car and empty Christmas boxes.

Maybe you could get the wife to sit in the car and pretend she is driven by it whilst making engine noises. You can then pretend you are running to catch her !!!

We got a box of individually wrapped chocolates for xmas from someone.

Similar to doing a chin up every time you walk past a chin up bar, I have grabbed a small chocolate pretty much every time I walked by this thing.

Turns out this is a pretty good strategy for building food volume… half way through today and the box is nearly empty. It’s a 750g box :cry:

I know how you feel, I started a box of liquorice all sorts last night and before I knew it I was reaching to the bottom of the 1kg box. On the plus side I have been very regular today !!

My lifting belt is on the same notch as before xmas so i choose to interpret this as no weight gained haha

On a positive note, I set a paused (at eyes) overhead press rep record at 10 w/ 50kg. This must be the most difficult, awkward and humbling upper body exercise there is (that involves a barbell i.e. not including any silly strongman movements haha)

Start the press where ever you usually start it.
Press to eye level and stop
Count 2 seconds (make sure everything stays tight)
Press overhead

Like a paused deadlift, it’s really good for exposing bad positioning.
