If you put on 20lbs of muscle mass in a few months, donate your body to science, because you are a freak.
. I’m just trying to get bigger and stronger so people don’t fuck with me. Literally, one of the goals I have in training. To put a would-be attacker on the ground and to protect those I care about. Does anyone here know who Alan Thrall is?
I’d suggest learning some kind of fighting in that case. Being strong is only part of the equation if that’s a goal.
I competed at 2 of Alans shows. Good dude. He was there when I blew out my knee.
Muscle takes a long time to grow. If it didn’t, there would be more muscular people. You can rush weight gain, but it means getting fat.
Just ate a entire box on Girl Scout cookies because I had ~1000 uneaten calories from this week. I got halfway through, realised they were 2 months out of date, then ate the other half.
Can you say “Happy Chubby Bunny” 10 times fast?
Thin Mints?
Samoas, my step mum brought them back from the states for me and they’ve been sitting in our cuoboard for a few months
sheeeww, thought I was gonna have to hate you for a second there.
How could you hate such an adorable boston terrier? ![]()
Well, had you gotten to eat an entire box of thin mints by yourself…

Edit: damn. Foiled

Fake natty…. If I hear that term on more time bantered about anymore in social media, I will be forced to slam my head into the hardest object I can find in the hope of brain trauma. Good God it’s gotten redundant and in some cases down right ignorant. Really? The 5’10 170 lbs guy whom looks a few weeks away from being even stage ready is a Fake natty? I am going on a limb and assuming the people whom really push this mentality probably will never EVER have to worry about their Natural Status EVER coming into question in the first place. It must be a sad pitiful existence for some of them that they have to build themselves up by downplaying someone else achievements. Also love this entitlement mentality some of them have that they deserve to know in the first place what someone else may or may not be doing in that regards. Guess it’s easier for some to use it as an excuse for why they haven’t achieved anything… as if some ones natural status has ever affect them at all.
Thank you. And yea, I have watched many of his videos. Very funny and informative.
Never watched his videos. Don’t follow a lot of media about lifting.
Totally agree with this, 20lb in a year would be good going, let alone a couple of months !!!
I thought we were talking about videos.
We are going in circles here.
it’s hard to follow the conversation when posts are removed. wtf jfallon.
and agree with pwnisher. if you gain 20 lbs in a few months, it ain’t mostly muscle.
the thing he said about ‘if it only took a few months to gain 20 lbs of muscle, a lot more people would have muscle’ should really hit home for a lot of people. Jfallon isn’t alone in this sort of nonsensical thinking. I know a SHIT TON of people who workout for literally years with no discernible progress.
I’ll also add that you should be careful about thinking like a tough guy just because you get bigger/stronger. I can promise you, the strength you gain will not put you in a position to start ‘putting would-be attackers on the ground and to protecting those you care about’. Youre gonna get yourself killed thinking like that.
You’ve seen my avatar picture. My look screams ‘don’t fuck with this guy’. And that’s the entirety of my armor. Because if anyone actually decides to fuck with me… I’m fucked. I’m smart enough to know my muscle doesn’t translate to being able to land a punch accurately, or knock anyone down. I didn’t learn to fight when I started lifting weights. And neither will you. Best case scenario, fewer people will be interested in messing with you. You won’t be a super hero capable of defending the innocent, lol
I’ve actually been doing martial arts for 10 years
. I believe that strength will help me to back technique. and i removed the posts to unclutter the forum, because my questions were answered. Sorry ab that
I guess I’m odd in the way that the more I train martial arts the more I don’t care if someone tries to ‘fuck with me’. I don’t need to look big and intimidating because if someone does try something, I am more confident in my ability to defend myself and teach aggressive tossers to be more careful who they should mess with.
This isn’t to say I would smash anyone who tried anything though, I just don’t like people who try to start physical confrontations.
