genuinely have offered a few of the hot female residents. So far no takers, but I’ll keep trying.

That hadn’t even crossed my mind. (Just another sign I probably need TRT.) Edit my previous comment to read Win/win/WIN!

NOBODY on her believes you are natural. Just come clean!

Funny trailer, but far from accurate. I could go in-depth here, but I’ll just leave it at this: Frozen lacks any archetypal content that I can discern. Lion king is an archetypal masterpiece (much like Star Wars!). Frozen seems to be leaving us with the message that: it’s ok to go off and be yourself, your family will be there to bail you out when they bumble their way through life.

That’s the sweetest thing you’ve ever said to me. Made my day.

Be careful, now. You’re describing me. You can’t be awesome at everything all at once. I find that if I improve my conditioning, then my strength has to be neglected. If I improve my strength in one lift, then another suffers. It’s quite infuriating, actually. Why can’t I be awesome?

I find that the older I get (and more distractions/responsibilities I have), the more I accept maintaining what I have. Since two-thirds of American adults are overweight and borderline obese, I look great by comparison. The longer I maintain what I have, the more I’ll stand out. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still trying to improve but a quick review of my training logs over the years tells the story of maintenance through various peaks and valleys.

It’s like a consolation prize.

I agree with this to a point, my old man is 70 and goes to the gym 5 days a week, he isn’t seeing a lot of strength improvement these days and the only body comp changes are when he looses the 5kg he just added in his last two week holiday that consisted mostly of eating and boozing. But going there every day keeps him healthy both physically and mentally and keeps him fitter and stronger than a lot of other 70 year olds.

I was thinking about getting a stripper for my husband’s birthday.

There’s a former Navy Seal who will rappel from the banister in a g-string. He retired from the military in 1976, but apparently he’s still really good with ropes.

It’s usually because they have the mindset “to tone”.

WTF

I’ve had guys my age (and younger) talk about they wish they would have arms like me, then comment on how they lift to tone…

Not that my arms are anything spectacular, but, fuck… at least do some pushups!

Maybe I can convince the Doc to give me something to help me “recover” from my hip surgery

I used to walk up the 8 to 12 flights of stairs to get class and everyone thought I was nuts - that was amongst 18 to 25 year olds.

Now at work, they actually closed the stairwell because they were worried you may die from exertion in there and no one would find you for a month.
