I get it with kettle bells or dumbbells. There’s more room for error and it takes much less time to teach (albeit still wrong), but the more you do something wrong, the longer it takes to correct it. 18 a round isn’t helping anyone. Ha

You folks haven’t lived until you’ve run “Grace” and hit 30 cleans as fast as possible.

To look good and be healthy.

When I say that I mean I’m not bothered about say pulling 600. I’m obviously concerned about progressing in strength in order to build muscle.

that pisses me off too. Tabata is a very specific thing. If you are not doing the specific protocol then it’s just some form of interval training.

Stop calling it Tabata if it’s not.

I have a friend who still does broomstick twists for 15 mins every workout session. He’s in his late forties and still big and lean. I’ve never said anything since there’s absolutely no reason for me to tell him not to do them if he’s doing everything else right lol.

Maybe I’ll introduce the tabata protocol to him. Tabata Twists.

I remember my dad trying to sell me on the broomstick twists to get rid of love handles! Must be a generational thing. I bet it does SOMETHING, but who knows what, haha.

Recommend you have him do them seated, with a 45# plate on his lap, to prevent him from taking flight mid-Tabata.
