I think subconsciously we are forming a cult where we support each other and gove advice because we are teenagers lol
I surmise it’s because young folks don’t understand how much they don’t know due to a lack of experience that they attempt to augment with “knowledge”, primarily as a compensatory measure. The concern of the advice giver is not altruistic; they have no desire to actually help the person they are advising, they simply enjoy the sensation of being in a position of authority over a peer.

I’ve been so amped up after successfully grinding out a deadlift that I’ve given myself the middle finger in the mirror before.
I’m not even sure where that came from because I only give people the finger in road rage situations.

The first time I tried to brace for real with a belt on I was using my friend’s belt. I had never used a lever-belt before and was trying to focus on getting the belt as tight as possible and getting a HYUGE breath.
As I began my pull the belt literally blew off. I must not have had it all the way in place. We had to take a 10 minute break to stop laughing.

I got my feet stuck in a GHR during a fit of laughter when my buddy pulled 675, dropped the bar- did the triple snap in a Z formation, then sashayed away like a big proud queen to get a drink of water.
Sometimes you just can’t not laugh.
