I’m going to be training biceps every other day for about 24 days, or 12 workouts. Im also doing serious lifting for all my other bodyparts but only averageing 2 sessions/body part every 8 days.

Do you guys think this is too much volume for biceps? They have not been sore, and Im pretty positive Im getting enough protein through food, and supplementation. It’s possible Im not giving them enough time to get sore, but again, soreness is not always a factor in progress. The last thing I want to do is overtrain. Im averaging about 10-16 sets of biceps each workout. Generally the weights are 80% and below my 1RM and a few workouts go up to 85% of my 1RM. Thanks

If you think you can still progress going that often then have at it.

That’s what I figured, what’s the worst that can happen, no results, I’m not going to die or anything, and It’s only about a month. Imma Hit It. THx for the reply

measured the arms cold this moring after about 30 minutes after I woke up.

Previously my left are was 16 inches and right arm about 15 and 7/8’s of an inch.

Currently, my left arm is 16 1/8 inches and right are is 16 inches. This is only after four workouts. I think that’s pretty good progress. I’ll measure every 4 workouts.

alittle off topic. but you posted this 12 hours ago and it popped up just now. These server errors are really irratating.

About the training, I figure I’ll do 4 workouts take and extre couple days rest, and repeat three times. If it works great, if it doesn’t, it was worth the try, so far so good!

for the off topic part, yeah I was wondering if other people were having the same problems I have been.

Viva the curl thread!

Today after a few days extra rest.

Best pump I’ve ever gotten, my biceps litterally ballooned up and were extremely hard to the touch.

On a side note, I hurt my lower back squatting and have to take it easy on squats, deads, and rows unfortunately. When it comes to back Im going to put more emphasis on Chin and Pulldown variations. Hopefully I’ll be better soon.

HCC= hammer concentration curl?

haha, ya I was getting board w/ everything else and decided to do seated conentration curls but w/ a hammer position. It was actually a really good finisher, brought out a good pump.
