The CRAZY-ARM Challenge!!!

After the workout with Deadlift, my back have some pain. may be from my muscle imbalance, or old strains.

so Day 5’s Squat is replaced by dumbbell lunges.

next week’s workout may be different(for other bodyparts,not arms)

today i’ve finished all 10 arm workouts, with 3 of them combine with CW’s LFGB program.

because of my back pain. i don’t want to get hurt, so i’ll make some changes to my program, and my legs get too much training, now still recovering. may be that’ll affect my arm gains. so i’ll take measurments tomorrow night, and then make some changes, and start on next monday for 2nd week…

Bad news…

by next Monday, i’ll have a hell week…because every assignment due in this week…i don’t have time or energy to keep up with such high-frequency training.

so i’ve to stop this challenge…

later tonight, i’ll take measurments again. and challange finished.

Hey,

These are my measurments(comparison):
7/5/06, 7:30pm => 14/7/6, 7:30pm
bodyweight: 95.6kg => 97.2kg
chest: 44inches => 44 3/4inches
waist: 40 1/4inches=> 40.5inches
hip : 41 3/4inches => SAME
forearm(R): 3 1/4inches => 13 3/8inches
(L): 13.5inches =>13 5/8inches
Quads(R): 25 1/4inches =>25 3/4inches
(L): 25 1/4inches =>25 3/8inches
Calves (R): 18 1/4inches =>same
(L): 18inches =>same

ARM (R): 17inches =>17 1/4inches
(L): 16.5inches =>16 3/4inches

total gain in Arm size :
Right : 1/4 inches
Left : 1/4 inches

Due to lack of time to recover(tons of assignment due), so i’ll just stop the challenge here.

this CRAZY-ARM Challenge prove that I’M NOT CRAZY enough to giveup my university study for Bigger Arm…HAHA

That’s some good progress. And looks like your priorities are in order too. Hope you retain those gains.

BTW, 18 inch calves! How about a pic? Have they always been big? What do you do for them?

Interesting. You can definitly see the size difference in the right bicep.

This is a photo from 2003,my calves always big,just like my forearms and traps, these three muscle groups i’ve try NOT to train them…but they STILL grow…

but at the beginning, i’ve train them with some crazy schedule…
e.g. using 5exercises/5sets/25-100reps for forearms,
sometimes going heavy for these muscles, even down to 6 reps,
e.g.barbell crist curl:108lbs x 6reps; leg press calf raise: 1006lbs x 6reps.
Hammer Strength shrug 12x45lbs x 6reps.

i’m gifted in these areas, that’s what i know, but i’ve no idea how they grow so big…out of proportion.

I’m sorry, I’m not at all trying to be negative. But, I can’t really see a difference in your arms. It could be a poor angle or a lighting problem or something of that nature.

No…I can’t see any difference at all.

well, 1/4 inch is not something easy to see…because my bodyfat level is not very low. all the details covered by fat…the shape is the same. just bigger…for 1/4 inches.
