Thanks J! Appreciate it. Guess I’ll be limping all weekend!
I’d love to see a time-lapse from all your snaps. Preferably with weights. That would make wilted carrots as myself realise just how much muscle you need to carry to look good after a cut.
I’ll do some digging and see what I can find.
Ok so here is what I can find. It’s a pretty good photo journal of my journey. Thanks for requesting it. It was actually kind of fun looking back at the changes.
Here’s the first image from 2003. I was 23 and 138 lbs. I remember because this was the weight I competed in with jiu jitsu. Obviously a Halloween picture lol
This ones from 2014. I’d been married for 11 years had two kids and had turned into dad bod guy. Top image was 169 lbs and bottom right was 145 lbs.
I maintained 145 and lean for a while and then a series of unfortunate events occurred. I hurt my wrist and couldn’t train much. Got out of the habit, and then my wife got diagnosed with cancer. Throughout the 2 years of treatment I went from 145-175. All fat. At 175 I did my second cut down to about 158. I cut the weight Summer 2017.
Here’s my first day of TRT. September 2017

From here I dirty bulked. Lifted super hard, but ate whatever the heck I wanted. Didn’t track anything… I ended 2017 at an all time high of 182.
January 2018 is when I started learning about nutrition and began tracking macros.
From here on out it’s been a series of bulks and cuts, and I’d like to think I’ve put on some muscle mass throughout the process.
And show day at 155
Amazing journey! Thanks for sharing!
Very happy to see you’ve maintained your smile throughout injuries and setbacks!
Great stuff, sometimes it takes looking back at old photos to realise how much progress you have made.
Dont know if I have missed an update anywhere but I hope your wife is doing well buddy.
Awesome brother! Nice job.
I hate taking pictures of myself when I’m fat, so that doesn’t happen.
She’s been in remission for almost three years. Scary times for sure but all good now! Thanks kd

Leg day!
Warm up
Squats
2 sets of 8 nice and slow
Working set
AMRAP SQUATS @ 95lbs for 5 minutes
I lost count but think I’m somewhere around 90
Leg extensions 3x30@110
Leg curls 3x30@120
Goblet squats 3x30@52.5
RFESS 3x15 each leg with 30lb dumbbell held in goblet fashion.
This was a pretty brutal session after not training legs last week on vacation due to getting sick.
Lungs were really pumping. I felt like I was able to focus on my quads a little more on the squats. I made a very conscious effort to focus on form and depth. I think it paid off as my lower back lasted a bit longer before getting super fatigued.
Overall a great week of lifting. Shoulders tomorrow.
I think the only picture you don’t look happy in is 182.
How did you like the Bulgarians ?
looked like a tough workout, that Hungarian oak thing sounds and looks terrible.
Bulgarians, Hungarians what’s with all this eastern europe thing, you only miss Romanian deadlift
Hey mort! I added them in at the end of the session so I was already pretty shaky. They felt pretty good. I did them with a 30 lb dumbbell and sets of 15.
When this program is over I’ll probably go ncorporate them with a little heavier weight. Overall I liked them.

Woke at 176.2
A little heavier today but not too unexpected. We went out to dinner and drinks on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Nothing too crazy but a lot more fat than I usually do along with drinks.
The DOMs are insane this morning. You know… the kind where the toilet seat feels like a knife on your hamstrings lol. Hopefully they’ll work themselves out quickly. Might do some foam rolling to speed things up.
Today’s workout
Shoulders
Plate raises 3x15@50
OHP 3x15 95/115/135 had to guess on these weights and was way off. 3x15@95 strict
Dumbbell military press 3x15@52.5
Neutral grip OH dumbbell press 3x15@45
Front dumbbell raises 3x15@40
Incline reverse flys 3x15@20
Lateral raises 3x15@25
6 way delt raise AMRAP @10
Huge shoulder pump today! 1hr 15 minutes. Nice steady pace working out solo. Sometimes it’s good to be alone with your thoughts. Was supposed to workout with a buddy, but kind of glad he cancelled. Wasn’t feeling particularly social today.
Nice work and still looking shredded man.

Spent all day yesterday trimming trees and feeling a little beat up today. You don’t realize how tense you are when you’ve got a chainsaw running 25 feet in the air. Good news is trees are all trimmed up and the yards looking much better.
Chest and triceps
Flat cable press
Flat cable fly
Incline cable press
Incline cable fly
Triceps bar push downs
Rope pull downs
Single arm rope pull downs
Overhead rope extensions
Tendinitis in my right bicep and shoulder is acting up. I’m pretty sure it’s all the pruning I did yesterday with the big clippers. I muscles my way through some larger branches before getting the chainsaw out. Oh well… we leave for vacay on Thursday!
I feel like I got some pretty good relief for my shoulder by using BPC-157 for about 20 days. I’m sure the time off will help but just in case it flares up again.
Just get that bad boy cut! Nothing like eight weeks in a sling to get you healed up.
No. I have the good old fashioned shoulder sling with abduction pad. That dude’s thing looks way better.
My biggest restriction is elbow flexion. I’m only five days post-op and I’m struggling to not use my arm already. I’ll have to ask my PT and Dr about a different sling/brace.
