So who watched the fight? Gatti’s fight plan or most likly it was Buddy’s plan was to box him. It wasn’t working, Arturo wasn’t keeping his left up for protection & he should have gone to his old brawling style.
Also, maybe Gatti should retire because it seems like every fight he hurts his wrist/hand. Would have been nice to see what he could had done if he didn’t get hurt!!
AND!?? Why did he fight the champ of that division so soon?! It was only his second one in that division! Was it $$$ or what???
I believe he’ll fight a few more yrs. 2 at the most because the $$$ is pretty good for him, but! Maybe not now with losing that fight.

To me, it didn’t look like he hurt his hand. That punch connected with his elbow and the way he held his arm looked like he might have hurt something around that joint. Baldomir is just straight up too much of a boxer for Gatti to handle. I don’t think Gatti could have beat him no matter how he threw down. Straight respect to Baldomir, the guy hasn’t got much press but looks at the top of his game.

Yep, yep!
How about Hatton or Mayweather with Baldmir?? I think May would kill him & Hatton & Bald would be a great fight to the end.
I read that Hatton will more than likely be moving back down to 140. Hatton vs Baldy is guaranteed fireworks, too bad it probably wont happen. I do feel Hatton is better suited at 140. I dont think he maintain’s his power at the heavier weight like he does at 140.

On another note, I’d love to see a Mosley v. Mayweather fight.
Mosley was most impressive against Vargas last week.
That’s a match up I want to see as well. I think Mosley has a better chance than most are giving him. Mayweather is without a doubt faster, but Mosley is not too far behind, and has the power advantage. Since Sugar said he wont fight again this year, we probably wont get to see it till some time next year.
I doubt we will see hatton fight in the U S for awhile because the refs here wont let him get away with all the crap he gets away with in england. The english refs are the most biased i have ever seen.

Hatton’s next fight will be in the U.S.
“Ricky will be fighting in a great American city in December. We have a number of options for his next opponent which will be finalised in the next few weeks. The Gatti defeat altered our way of thinking. It was the fight everybody wanted to see but it is not going to happen now as he has been beaten,” said the senior Hatton.
I don’t think we’re going to see this fight until late next year either, unless the De La Hoya v. Mayweather fight doesn’t get finalized (which is quite possible).
Personally, i’d be more excited about Mosley v. Mayweather, but I can’t even imagine how far out they’d go with advertising a De La Hoya v. Mayweather matchup.

Mosley is likely the only guy who could defeat Floyd at that weight class IMO.

I love Gatti, but man he’s lost the touch. He’s a brawler, not a boxer.
Gatti’s/Buddies game plan was not working, which was to box him. Why didn’t he just change it up & start brawling?? He kinda was near the end.
Gatti’s had a great career, comeback after comeback. He’s been ALOT of fun to watch over the yrs.
Mosey & Mayweather would be awesome to watch.
HOw’s Mayweather’s coach doing?? He’s a great fighter himself, can’t recall his name.
Who watched Wed. night fights last night? Damn, KO’s one after the other. The one with his hands down, doing his little jump up & down, and then, BAM!!! LMAO!!!
