Oh please… Stop being a “poor me” vaginaface.

Grow the fuck up. You have been pimping general fitness on a fucking BODYBUILDING forum. Plenty of people have been called out for it before you, and you aren’t special.

Either talk about fucking bodybuilding and quit trolling, or go hang out with the 175lbers over on the island.

I’m starting to understand why stronghold called you out. Him and I don’t see eye to eye on some things, but I really understand where he was coming from now.

(Now that is closer to an attack than my last few posts. Lol at how fast you will burn out running a business.)[/quote]

Stronghold and I are now acquaintances and have spoken via phone.

I don’t have the patience or inclination to argue with people on the internet anymore; I have better things to do. I don’t care for people misinterpreting my writings, and I don’t want to misinterpret their writings. Just don’t care for it anymore.

I only care to talk (and MAYBE argue) via phone or in person like grown adults. Sometimes I’d actually LIKE to fight, but being that I have to maintain a stable, normal life and out of prison, I can’t.

I also wish to do away with negativity in my life, including negativity on internet message boards. So if you wish that I fail or predict that I’ll fail, I care not see your posts, CB.

I too am guilty of partaking in attacking people and acting immature on here, and it’s over.

I wasn’t even promoting anything. All I was talking about was my current fitness activities in a thread I created that some people like. If you don’t like what I did, I’m sorry.

So long.

Who do you call “vaginface” in person?

I’m done here. I don’t think I’m posting on T-Nation much at all anymore. I’ll keep my info up in case anyone wants to talk to me.

This is pretty much what I was getting at.

Nice - now we’re driving Brick out of here - a great guy with a wealth of information. A solid contributor here for 8 years, and a professional in the field.

But fuck him - he’s just not hardcore enough for the awesome dick-swingers around here.

I’ll keep in touch on FB Brick. Christ this place is a fucking joke…

Dude, talk about bodybuilding on the bodybuilding forum. It is really that simple.

The guy IS smart. And he SHOULD contribute to the bodybuilding forum, by talking about fucking bodybuilding.

General Fitness has a million other boards to be discussed on.

Would telling people they can’t be a good father and be serious about BB’ing fly on IM?

Oh really? Like the fucking 20 plus page thread we’re in right now? The one he took the time to make that contains a TON of great information on BODYBUILDING?

And whatever his views on “general fitness” or fatherhood are his own opinions regarding HIMSELF. Not you, or anybody else.

You are fucking ridiculous - so desperate to prove your “hardcore bodybuilding credentials” that you run around these boards like king shit, passing judgement on everyone (or posting your lifting videos EVERY fucking chance you get, in MULTIPLE threads) trying to prove your superiority.

The funny thing is that while you blast this guy, you’d be lucky for people to think YOU are just into general fitness - so unless you put on 40 pounds of lean mass since your profile pictures, maybe you should shut the fuck up about who’s hardcore and who’s not.

Just when I was starting to like you, you go ahead and act like a dickhead again, attacking a guy like Brick for utterly preposterous reasons.

So now go ahead and take some shots at me - bust out your fat jokes or whatever else you’ve got, but realize that when all is said and done, you do not look anything like a bodybuilder, so until you do, maybe it would be best to act more humbly, instead of taking every opportunity to be a dick.

Right, it was a great thread. I didn’t attack him until he wouldn’t drop it. Did I over react to his snide fucking parenting remark? Maybe, but fuck that noise.

Okay, voice them somewhere else.

Fuck I’ve seen X get called out for taking threads off topic and many others too. Why is Brick an exception?

The BB’ing forum has FINALLY stopped being full of underachievers talking about general fitness, lets try and keep it that way.

LOL! Show me, one time where I called myself “hardcore” or a “bodybuilder” or said I know a ton of information?

Your personal issues with me astound me, lol.

Really? Hmmmm.

I’m not TRYING to prove shit. My numbers are my numbers. Does my progress bother you that much? Does the fact that, unlike 95% of this board, I make where I am, and where I’ve come from public?

I’m not superior, nor do I share your perspective of the world. Stop projecting your insecurities onto my actions.

Also, why are you following me around and reading my posts if it bothers you so much? LOL

Dumbest post I’ve ever seen you make. LOL. Nice try at a put down, but you fail.

There are a few people I trust on this board who have seen my recent photos, and had you watched my vids, you would have gotten a good look at me. After the celtic bullshit I’m not posting anything publicly for awhile.

SO…

Oh yeah, I have gained quite a bit sense them. Where are your updates? Where is your progress? Where are your videos? Oh wait… Pot meet the Kettle.

Since you want to act like celtics, find my response to him in the thread he called me out in. That will explain exactly how far I’ve come in less than two years. All while accomplishing life goals outside the gym.

Like I give a fuck about what you think of me. I’m not here for YOU.

Unlike you, I’m not going to take personal cheap shots at you.

LOL, you’ve had a problem with me from the beginning. SO why not put me on ignore and enjoy life without projecting whatever insecurity you have on me, my attitude, or progress.

Oh, and you owe me a tub of protein from the troll bet awhile back.

The bodybuilder who’s pictures he stole is named Bruno Samora.

Just some thoughts…

  1. I actually like you/Counting Beans. It just hit me belatedly that you thought I was shilling ideas or marketing when I have nothing to market. After all, what would I market - working out less hardcore or cutting down on physical acticity or dietary sacrifice? That’s not really something to market. People don’t work out enough as it is; they don’t need my advice for that.

I wasn’t promoting general fitness either; rather I was explaining why I don’t post much on a bodybuilding forum anymore: getting slammed for TALKING (gasp!) about bodybuilding while not bodybuilding myself anymore. As I said, I find this funny because people have no problem talking to someone about the Yankees even though the people doing the talking don’t partake in baseball.

  1. I’m guilty of acting immature and hostile and abrasive on this board. I regret this, and I apologize for it, even if it is the internet. Words are words, whether written or spoken, and words can hurt. I believe I’m a nice person and I haven’t acted nicely here at times. So I’m sorry.

I DON’T intend for a “woe is me” act as you put it. I turned 31 yesterday and some things have happened in the past year that taught me some lessons, one of them being that I shouldn’t partake in negative behaviors anymore. I’ve had problems with depression and anger in my past and at this point of my life can’t afford to engage in negative behaviors anymore. Yeah, I admit it, I’m just too sensitive to bickering and arguing over unimportant stuff anymore. (This doesn’t mean I’m a pushover in regards to more serious matters.)

  1. I didn’t say you can’t be a great dad and bodybuilder at the same time. I meant you can’t be FULLY engaged in church AND work AND socializing AND fatherhood AND whatever else at the same time. Even someone as accomplished and intelligent as Dave Tate said this. People need to prioritize. Really, how could someone be an Olympic athlete without TREMENDOUS sacrifice.

Do you know how many have explained how their lives prevent them from doing some things they feel they’re missing out on? I forgot his name, but that world record holding Japanese hurdler said that he deeply regrets not starting a romantic relationship before some of his Olympic training. In a You Tube clip, Ty Gay talks of his life being extremely regimented and restricted.

Dude, can’t you see what I was getting at?

  1. I’m not ashamed to admit this. This past year I fell in love with a woman who I hung out with for six months but with whom a serious, long term relationship couldn’t develop because of situational factors (age difference, different points of life, etc). That was the first time in so long that I felt love like that. I want to find another woman with whom I can feel this way again.

Spending EVERY or NEARLY EVERY work night in a gym impacted my social life in the past to the point in which I did away with dates, socializing, attending profession-related events (as I explained before), and so on. For ME, I really don’t think I’m going to bump into another GREAT WOMAN if all my thoughts and most of my free time is spent eating and training or thinking of these two things.

Yeah, I’m not afraid to admit it, nor do I care if it sounds like I’m being a pussy/mush/Whatever: finding a partner/great woman and spending time with my friends are more important to me than being huge or in the best shape now. What’s wrong with that?

  1. People go through phases. I was in a hardcore phase for quite sometime. I enjoyed most of it, but also paid for some of it (my PERSONAL experience).

I’m an obssessive person. This is why I don’t take anyone up for their offers on entering races (running) now that I run. Why? Because this will turn into a whole new obssession in which I get involved in a running regimen just as sacrificial as a serious bodybuilding regimen. What will this do? Infringe on my time and other interests/needs/desires/priorities as before.

  1. Bodybuilding and being big started yielding low returns on investments for ME PERSONALLY (please just get that). A 300 pound bench press and 30 pounds of masss might be good for health and structural integrity for people (probably is). A 405 bench press and 70 pounds of mass might do more (better health indicators, leanness, improved appearance, maybe SOME respect and social status or female attention).

But there comes a point in some or most people’s lives in 2010 that such things and investments don’t give them what they want the most.

  1. Sky, thanks for all the kind words.

Bodybuilding is an activity where the science often doesn’t pan out and that experience and achievements is often more credible. You should know that if you stop bodybuilding then unless you were Mr.Olypia at one point, people will shit on you if you speak about bodybuilding.

Not just that, but “general fitness” is something this forum doesn’t particularly promote (having a Conditioning forum doesn’t speak for the general opinion of the core members) and therefore anyone who gave up the very thing we chase for the very thing we avoid, will get the wrong end of the stick from many members.

Bricknyce, welcome to the Internet. Thick skin goes a long way here, sometimes you just have to ignore people.

Dude, I think you have a lot to offer the community.

I was busting your nuts about what I perceived as you calling out for other people in your situation to come to you. Again, this isn’t a bad thing at all. I was just busting your balls, notice where I said no worries. Dude I HOPE you are successful when you decide to take the jump into business. Again, hit me up, and I’ll help as much as I can.

I don’t want you to leave, but would hope that everyone wouldn’t mind about being held to the same standard. And not inviting more of the GF crowd to delude the forum now that it is on track or sorts.

And yeah, maybe I did over react to the parenting comment. But as most people with kids will attest, fuck, leaving them at daycare to go to work, to put a roof over their head causes massive amounts of guilt some days.
