Discredit? Nope, I acknowledge when people have built impressive amounts of size. You get the tip of the hat from me as well as many others on here (that’s how it’s done right? I pay you a compliment and you give me the ‘good post’ reply?)

Actually, the other poster (Marshaldteach) understood what I said, when I explained why I referenced the particular accomplishments that I did for specific people. He apologized, we chuckled, and I have no issue with him.

This was a good post. I didn’t see a response to it.
And you never shall.
wow. that was one of the single best and POLITE internet total smackdowns i have ever seen. it is so full of truth that it is silly.

x should just leave the site, no whatamisaying?? please stay, it is too entertaining having you here. carry on sir!

And still being ignored.

You have your shorts under your shorts hiked up to blunt the visual impact of your love handles, there’s very little definition to be seen anywhere, and your face literally has fat hanging off of it. Look at your cheeks and eyelids. You’ve obviously got mass on you, but you are also carrying a lot of fat on you too.
Please post picture of yourself showing much better growth and leanness.
I didn’t respond to Stu because I don’t care if he doesn’t like me…and don’t care if anyone else doesn’t like me.

My goal is to discuss the topic of this thread…not to respond to some overly drawn out post about why someone doesn’t like me. He can think what he wants just like you can.

-I 100% agree with you that adding a bit of fat while adding muscle is a very productive and somewhat simpler/fool proof way to add strength and size to a subject.
-I agree that if gaining all-out size is the main goal of a subject who doesn’t have interest in current trends in fitness or body-image then adding a bit of fat in a health controlled manner is not only acceptable but recommended.
But, I don’t even agree completely with what you wrote here. You make it seem like someone who understands some fat may be gained has no interest in body image. “Body image” is SUBJECTIVE. We see it all of the time here. Guys who are super skinny and think they are really big.

Bodybuilding is all about body image…and the goals of the individual with that image.

It is simply understood that in interest of the long term goal, you don’t always get there looking like a fitness model the whole way without short changing your overall gains.
LoL I can’t even agree with you correctly. I’m sorry but I lost patience in this debate the moment you linked someones personal development with their scientific knowledge. How many looks do you get as being the very large surgeon? I can imagine some people have trouble taking you seriously in your field based on your size/looks so why would you do the same in the exercise science field?
People do things like this when they can no longer support their argument at all…it turns to personal insults.

You were just given clarification as to what my stance is…and now you move to the insults.
I am legitimately sorry about that. Didn’t mean for it to come off as a personal insult at all (i’m not even sure how you arrived to that conclusion). Maybe the tone of my post wasn’t conveyed correctly. What I was trying to say is that i am sure in your field you had to overcome obstacles based on your size and general look. If you work in a hospital you must be judged frequently by the old types who tend to look at physical fitness and intellect as indirectly proportional. This is the case, at least, in the hospitals and residency programs I’ve observed.

My question was why, then, would you do the same? What does the way someone looks have anything to do with their knowledge on a matter?

I assure you I can support my argument and am very willing to debate it.

My guess is, most of the people here are in way better shape than this?

I’m carrying more fat than I am willing to admit?

Is this all you have to offer? My pic is right there. What fat am I not willing to admit?

According to Brick that is “25% body fat”.
Bullshit, in that picture he’s no more than 15%. You can’t see even a hint of abs above that.
No… just no.

But you’ve said you don’t like the shit storm threads and Stu discussed why your behavior turns these threads into shit storms. Seems like that would be something you would want to pay attention to.

Shape is subjective. For my goals, yes I’m in much better shape than you. You could probably say the same to me.

?? This is about EXPERIENCE. If you have never helped someone else get huge and never did it yourself, don’t pretend that “physiology” alone tells you how…because if it did, your MD would be the best “personal trainer”.

You supported that argument…not so well.

Because MDs have extensive training in exercise physiology.

It isn’t just “exercise physiology” or else every PhD in that field would be the best person to go to in order to look like a huge linemen.

Yo getting really huge isn’t just about “exercise physiology”. Every concept I have been discussing matters more and more the more extreme you take this.

I do not think anyone reading these threads believes this in the slightest.

It is painstakingly obvious that you urn for praise and validation from other members of this board. In every thread you will fight, scratch and claw while grasping at straws in order to never be seen as “wrong” (as if it matters)

If you truly did not care if others (Stu or anyone else) you would respond with things like “well _______ is what I did and it worked for me.” & “that’s your opinion but I’m happy with how things are going/turned out.” Instead of endlessly arguing about semantics.

Just to add, it is OK to care if people like you or not. Anyone who says that they don’t care if anyone likes them is flat out lying. A person doesn’t have to want everyone to like them but any person who says they do not care if anyone likes them is not being genuine. They are putting up a “tough guy” front.
