That said…
Snap, Blue and Ryan - you’re all too right. I spend way too much time setting up prior to pulling. This is a problem I’ve had for a long time. Its all a mental thing for me, you know, dealing with the inner monologue. Same goes for the squat. I do a lot of “dancing around” (i think that’s how Snap once put it). I’m going to remember to move more decisively on my next lifts.
And Ryan, thank you so much for all the feedback!! I’ll have a look at the vid and go through it with your recs. I wish you were around to cue me when I lift, sigh, that would be perfect.
I have been training these last few days. Nothing super exciting to report. Tried those mixed grip chins that Owlie does. I’m just so water-logged tho…so I’m feeling a bit bleh.
Easing back into soccer too. Played a match last night. Scored a sweet goal but also got pwned on several ocaisions. Ha! I’m playing in a men’s league, so its a challenge…
I know i shouldn’t complain, but I came to the realization that I’m looking a wee bit on the “too muscular” side. We’ll see what happens while i’m in season.
