One thing that really helped me learn to push my hips under the bar at lockout are zercher harness deadlifts/pin pulls.

Since I’m sure you don’t have the harness at your gym, you could try a normal zercher deadlift.

Pronated pullups w/ 5lbs - 4x2, 1 < I don’t normally do pronated b/c of my pissy shoulder, failed at 2 on last set
Med ball pushups - 4x15 < these bitches are hard!

Supersetted:
neutral pullups 10x1
Floor presses - 12x25, 3x12x30 < 30 was quite the challenge
Face pulls - 12x40, 45, 50, 55 < was feeling out the weight out on these

Would just like to add that on Monday I left my undies at the gym. I was sad about this b/c it was one of my favorite pair. But today I found them all crumpled up in the locker, looking sad and lonely and mildly groddy. None the less, I was glad to be reunited and am happy to report they have been washed and are safely hanging in my bathroom. All’s well that ends well.

Thanks guys! These weighted pullups are really quite silly. Basically I’m holding DB b/w my legs (and looking rather toolish for it) and then I have to jump off a bench, get into a dead hang and then give it a go. So, my form is not how I normally like it, which is ankles crossed behind me and knees apart. Should I invest a belt you think? (kimba?..)

Great info on the pull ups in here. I hates them too. I’ve been flirtig with the idea of putting a bar in my doorway and attempting a few during my fidget breaks.

I know nothing about bench form, but the rest of the form looked very good.

As for weighted pullups, you have passed me up. I can’t do any weight pullups. But FOR SURE I’d recommend a dip belt for those. This allows you to cross your legs over the weight after you jump up.

And pch, putting a pullup bar in my doorway and trying for a pullup every day made all the difference to my being able to do them now.
