The 405 OHP Thread

I’m not to far off from a 405 pushpress. Probably a couple years from a 405 strict press though

i’m game. i recently hit a 315x5 with a little leg drive but they were all from the chest and dead stop. it will definitely take awhile but my goal is an overhead press of 405 at a bodyweight under 240.

Vincent is and has always been a beast.

With a 245 OHP I’m in only to cheer on Meat who really isn’t all that far away. My favorite Meat moments thus far are the 500 pd. reverse grip bench (how many guys in the world have ever done that?) and OHP 225x25 or something crazy like that.

Humbling to watch a guy OHP 225 for more reps than I can bench it for. You need to post that video in this log Meat.

To me, this is the most impressive lifting performance I have ever seen on tape. I would say
benedikt magnusson’s deadlift and captain Kirk’s squat are the only other lifts that are in the same category

Yeah he can strict press out the rack 405 for 3-5 reps depending on the day Ive seen it… its really silly. Thats just the only video out right now. I keep trying to get him to post more videos and should have some impressive lifts up in a few weeks
WOW. Strongman competitors always have the craziest OHP strength. Would love to see that.
You know you can back your shit up online when you press overhead heavier than shittalkers’ squats

Caltene is the resident douchebag/troll. Just nod your head and smile, folks.

Damn it, was going to attend that but had to work.

ken patera did a strict press behind neck with 190 kilos in 1971 or so . he was 335 pounds or so . kazmaier pressed 450 pounds 3 reps seated in 1988 . i think . ken was standing . but zydrunas is greater . but heavier too
