I tuned in to my favorite leftist podcaster, actually no, my favorite is a trucker cause that guy is a funny mofo, he makes light about the chit we are in and he basically is saying I’m ready for whatever the outcome is but he still is blinded by T rage and is saying “it’s your fault for voting for it”.

Anyone the guy I’m talking about just went on a long rant about the new dwarf wannabe action hero who replaced the plastic housewife and he starts going on and on about how he couldn’t even answer a question about traveling outside the country, they got his azz blah blah blah and in the end of it the guy says that travel is excluded and the person questioning him didn’t say shit and the the podcaster says “the media will find this out” with a evil laugh. What a dweeber……

This is the problem with these folks, blinded picking sides…….

Oh, yeah if people want to go back in time when 1-person works and can still live, well that shit is still possible like back then, people didn’t do shit back then, they saved, they didn’t live above their means and well, yeah, that shit ain’t no fun, but that’s what it takes. I do Zerchers for muscle and strength building.

I don’t think Zercher will increase one’s deadlift at least it won’t to get from 405 to 500 and above.
It could for sure aid in lighter weights.

I do however think deadlifts especially SLDL help build a bigger Zercher! And Zercher from the floor works muscles differently and build mobility.

And doing 2-reps is the perfect stimulus, my entire back is rocked today, good soreness not the “I’ve been hit by a truck” kind.
Edit and I think the negative plays a big part in the 2-rep muscle building thing. I’m not talking about counting a negative, that is overthinking it. The goal in a negative is to control it so you don’t damage your floor or disturb your family upstairs, this is why the 60s through 90s lifters were jacked. And today the typical powerlifter isn’t so jacked anymore.

Breakthru quad discovery and I I’m pretty sure I just invented this somewhat of a superset and it involves a Kettlebell! It was because I was short on time with this discovery.

Went to my buddies kettlebell club in which he just moved there, I’ve not been there since like Dec 2025.

And my buddy also at the new year did a one hand swing switching hands for 10reps total with 203# bell.

I wanted to try the switching hand thing so I played around with it. You switch hands in mid swing each rep.

Then I was running out of time and wanted to use his racks for squats (gosh I haven’t squatted in a rack for years)

So I did -
Squat 235 x10 no belt -
Then I did 6-7 swings switching hands with 124# kettle bell.

Holy buckets did that rock the quads!!!

I ran out of time to do another set, but I’m gonna up this next time!

Came home and did/
EZ reverse curls up to 72.5 x11

My reasoning for doing this is because the 2 reps are getting harder and chances are I’m gonna no longer progress on them so let’s do some heavier singles for a little while!

Just over 10 minutes!

This is not a speed thing. It was easier than last time because my erectors were not already rocked.
Standing with the bar on the shoulders even if your pacing yourself builds muscles, character (well maybe a tougher azzhole character cause I know lots of peeps don’t like me, lol) and mental toughness. The breathing alone IMO is probably better than those Hines shrugs, srs, I don’t see much point in just standing with a bar on shoulders shrugging. Do high high rep squats and you’re forced to shrug! There’s me being an azzhole.

This might seem silly, but the guy with the mullet is the ultimate horse specimen and he became the ultimate jacked wrestler when he turned heel and singles via watching his food choices.

People will say he’s juiced to the gills but I’d be willing to bet he’s using “less” than the big bafoons he’s tussling with here.

He trained as an athlete and did weights to aid his athleticism. Just look at his build compared to the those fluff mass guys he’s throwing around.

Yes everyone here is a monster and athletic but he was pretty special. His brother was a horse too.

This is why I do Stienborn squats = more athletic by wrestling the load on the shoulders!
Of course I won’t ever be this great though.

Warmup was SLDL up to 315 x6 DOH from floor

10”height straps-

Belt-
415 x2 easy
430 x2
This is 3/4” lower and 10# heavier than last time.

Going into this I was only thinking to do 422-425 tops but 415 felt so good.

Rep 1 was tough, rep 2 was cake so I know my position was off on rep 1.

As tough as rep 1 was, everything held up hamstring and low back!

The 415 was a good thing for volume then hitting 430.

Not sure what the game plan will be for next time, got plenty of time to ponder that. But 3/4” makes a hell of a difference and I believe THAT was my sticking point, once I got near the knees it flew up but I actually stood there for 3seconds like should go for two, lol. Glad I did!

So I got 1 - 1.25”inch to go, it’ll be hard.

Those lunges got me sore. here is the event that determined my choice of lifting for today-

Wife made pumpkin bread!

This stuff is made with a canned pumpkin food in which I scanned with my Yukon app. It scanned excellent in nutrition.

It’s not the point of if that scan should be looked at as accurate, the point is by it scanning excellent I know it’s better than my normal snacking of fig bars and Cliff bars, that’s the point!

I cut a big slice and smothered natty chunk PB all over it, washed it down with a glass of whole milk, then-
