Thanks Shugs

I just wanted to say that I appreciate the Phoenix Article you wrote last week. I went ahead and took some pictures of my flabby ass self and it was helluva wakeup call. I thought I was training hard, keeping track of food intake, etc. butsSeeing myself in the photos (especially the one from the side) made me realize that I havent been giving 100%. I’m pissed me off and dissapointed at myself for letting myself go so much physicaly.

But it’s OK, you know why? Because I know that I can reach 210lb BW with single digit BF% by the end of next year!

Thanks for the reality check and the kick in the ass that we all need sometimes.

-Peace

We can all use a good kick in the ass from time to time, I was starting to get happy with my results on the velocity diet because I looked so different, but if you compare my current picture with that of someone I want to look like, 18-20% BF is still way to much. That article has more power to it than any article I’ve ever read.

Ya man the Phoenix Article is right up there with ‘Merry Christmas Bob’.

How much weight did you lose on the V-Diet, and how long did you use it?

I’m in day 25 right now, 14.2 pounds down and BF went from 25 to 18.5% (I put on some muscle in my legs, hadn’t lifted them hard in about two years). Going the full 28 days and the transition period.

I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to lose weight, I’ll def revisit the diet once I get down to about 13-14% and try to see if single digits are possible.

I’d do it if I had the mula, problem is my funds are low now after Christmas. I’ve been stocking up on Tuna and Eggs atm. Just ordered some Grow! and BCAAs, that should hold me for a months or so.

Did you have any decrease in strength since starting the V-Diet?

Cool. Thanks, guys!

Higgins,

Where do you train at?

I usually train at Jesse Owens North.

Just remember, while you have to front the money rather than spend it periodically over a month, it’d cost about the same to do this diet as it would to spend the $60-100 per week that you normally would at the grocery store. All you’re consuming is the stuff you’re getting at Biotest (plus a few small items like natty PB that don’t cost much at all).

I’ve never done the V-Diet so can’t comment on its results, but I’ve heard some very good things and will probably give it a shot in the next year or so.

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one that gained from this article.

I realized I was becoming one of those “oh brah, I’m bulking!” dudes, except I wasn’t seeing muscle gains–I was just getting fatter. Pictures confirmed it for me.

That’s no longer a problem, though.
