Hi Nschneid,
Supplements are pretty strightforward: Progain Cyclone (2 scoops/day), Fish Oil (20ml/day), Progain ZMA (Magnesium supplement).
After completing the third cycle I’ve gained over 2Kg with an average of 0.75Kg per cycle. For someone over 50 thats pretty damn good.
The only trouble I’ve found is that I’m more prone to injury. I suspect this is because the program has a very small recovery window, and for someone of my age and injury history its proving to be too small. Hence I’ve decided to modify the fourth cycle by:
Dropping the seconday leg workout and just do some eccentric-less work instead. I’ll also reduce the number of sets in the primary leg work. Hopefully that’ll help my knees.
Reduce the number of sets in secondary upper body day as well. Hopefully that’ll help my shoulders along.
Once again, many thanks to CT for this routine and for making me think again about how I execute each rep. The explosive rocket launch has been a revelation.
