You don’t look old enough to have been training for 39 years. Started straight out of the womb?
Great workouts.

My company is relocating to Shreveport,La.I declined to transfer. So off I go to work on the production end of the oilfield.Key Energy over in a town about 60 miles from home.Good job and lots of benefits.Dang, I do not like change. Not sure what my schedule will be other than lots of hours.Life is good!!!TRAIN HARD! Jimmy T
Sounds like an intersting deal Jimmy. Glad you found something ‘close’ to home. I know you are no stranger to long hours!
Good luck on the new job. Sounds like a mixed blessing. Good job but farther away. 60 miles just next door down in Texas ain’t it?
Willy-The hours are a part of the oilfield as you know. This is a good move if it pans out.If not on to the next one!!!
hel-your right about 60 miles being down the road in Texas.

Had to train this evening at 8pm.A different kind of crowd in the gym at night.TRAIN HARD! Jimmy T
Nice training Jimmy. So did you get some strange looks with the 8pm fitness crowds?
Good goin’ Jimmy!
Time wise - how is the commute?
Looking strong. Not easy working all day, driving 60 miles and then trying to lift. Is the commute at least all highway?
Yeah the 8pm crowd is the look in the mirror and BS and take up space. So when a old school powerlifter trains and messes up the area with chalk what do you do.The answer is nothing!!!Get out of the way and let him train on the equipment.
The drive to work is about an hour but the news is that job is not going to work.So on to the next job and I think I might roughneck. It is 7-12 hour days on and 7 days off.Looking for the right drilling company to work for.Stay tuned!!!

Just training by feel and trying to adjust to the new schedule.A big shout out to the crew.A great day to all tomorrow. Jimmy T
Come on! We want the Pic of the day! Show us that high tec training equipment.
God Bless Lonnie
Training by feel sounds good to me!
Sorry to hear about the job Jimmy and luck on the next one.
Roughneck! Maybe we’ll get to see you on one of those TV shows. I like the training by feel method myself. Good luck.
Lead, Follow, or get the Hell out of the way! Great training Jimmy. Good luck on the job.
Gonna hit some low rep workouts any time soon? You curl a ton. 130 for reps and you weigh 195, thats impressive.

Thinking about going to Tyler in october to chase the state record in the curl for NASA.I’m not sure what kind of rep training yet.Waiting to see how the job situation pans out.By the way E my family lives in Concord,N.H.
I grew up in Concord. My mom and dad still live there. I live a couple towns over.
I wondered how people train for the curl. The biceps is such a small muscle. Is it low or high reps, a few sets or a lot of sets.
