Testopel Experience?

Just spoke and made my appt for next week. My estradiol went from 8 to 20 from Quest after 3 weeks on Testim. I’ve been on two months now. So possibly my estro is up. Could explain the depression, no libido and the edginess.

Would high estradiol also cause the penile shrinkage?

I forgot the reference range for estradiol for males.

Discuss EVERYTHING with him when you see him. I’m not a doctor, and no one on here is either.

The range shouldn’t be above 40-50 for males per Quest. Normal for me for years is 25-29. I went as high as 44 which made me feel bad on TRT first go.

Also why Ksman don’t you approve of the Sustain use? It controls my estradiol and the res is good for you. Also guys do use it on cycle to keep the HPTA stimulated. It helps my libido too.

Thanks for all responses too Brick.

Because most of those things do not work and can be more costly than anastrozole. Please link me to product info.

Do you share with Dr. M all the things you use? You really should!

I told him but no Doc yet knows supps. And so many out ther today… it’s Primordial Performance Sustain Alph Ksman.

I took a dose yesterday 5mL., morning wood and my boys are fuller, less numbness. It must be a good product, I’ve yet to read any bad on it, so many use it even on big supressing cycles. Been around years now and always sells out on Nutra.

We’ll see what my new bloods say… Brick does he test anything else other than Estradiol and Testosterone? So far no Free test, Thyroid mention at all.

Brick, I found a great thread on Testopel therapy. Including a guy who uses Sustain and Toco in btwn when he feels his levels decline. Honestly Dr. Mel really likes this form of therapy and he said his success with it is excellent. I may consider it.

Another link to a guy using them. I’m going to give them a go. I trust Dr. Mel, I’ve been to quite a few TRT Docs, spent thousands and never felt good. Injects and gels just are not working. No risk no reward. I will log all of it to keep all posted.

He tests it all: LH, FSH, free T, thyroid, blood count, total T, prolactin, estradiol. He checks my estradiol, blood count, estradiol, and free and total T every time I see him. We don’t check FSH and LH every time; we already know the deal with that.

Dude, you’re not on a “cycle”.

I don’t care to bother with Testopel right now after inquiring about it in this thread and talking to him, because now that I thought of it, I don’t care to switch up an already good treatment I have; I’m not in the mood to wait to see the right dose of pellets for me because Androgel works fine for me (regularly at 700 to 1000 ng/dl and feel great).

It’s not just a matter of “morning wood”. We get erections several times per night; you just might not arise when you have one.

Again, I’m not a doc and don’t know about the supplements you use. I simply look at this all as a matter of a medical condition requiring medicine and that’s it. However, you don’t have t share the same outlook of course.

That guy is not going to entertain any talk about supplements.

Brick, I know what a cycle is. I’ve been training over 20 years and I’ve been personal training and run my own boxing club for 11 years now. I’ve gone the injection route, HCG, Clomid all.

Hopefully Test pellets will be a better option. Can’t say I’m an angel when it comes to my gel either. I’m so busy at the gym and working a full time job, putting that stuff on everyday is a chore. I forget sometimes and some days apply in the morning or early afternoon. I work mostly outdoors so I sweat alot and I have to take a break from work to put it on, then right back out in the heat. So alot of this could very well be my lifestyle and absorbtion issues.

Again I appreciate your help, I found a good Doc bc of you. I will keep you updated… Dude.

Here is an update I posted on Testopel site.

Had 10 pellets implanted left buttock on side. After months of gel use decided to try pellets. Gels were too inconvenient. Day 3 the site is so sore I can barely walk. I woke with chest tightness (could be muscle related) so went and had pressure EKG for precaution. All seems normal but the chest tightness is worrisome. My energy and erectile function feel A+ but with all this energy I can’t walk bc I’m sore on a scale of 10!! Ouch Testopel. I will update again.

Also my recent TT was 267 f Quest. Estradiol was 3!!

Also my chest tightness could be the extra heavy front shoulder shrugs and shoulder presses I did the night before. I may have strained too hard with heavy weight and caused my discomfort.

But don’t let anyone tell you this procedure doesn’t hurt. I can take pain, but I can’t even sit. I had some leg pain after my shots when I took Test E. But this is much worse.

Are you sensitive to soy?

When injecting, one can irritate or hit a nerve and that hurts a bit. There is no reason to expect that an implant can never do the same. But the effect would be prolonged. We had one report here of a significant infection as well.

When injecting, if you feel a nerve, you can back out and move the injection site. With pellets, the local anesthetic could easily eliminate this feedback.

I can’t recall that we have had a single positive implant result, spanning months. But guys do not come here to report that they have nothing but great results.

Not sensitive to soy at all. I just don’t use it much.

I have read a few posts with positive results but couldn’t link them here. The pellets make sense. Slow sustained release and less conversion. Time will tell. This is my last run. As far as infections go I’ve read that’s more common with pellets made by compounded pharmacies. I was given Testopel. I only co-payed $15.00 and all is covered.

Can someone lead me to the “Testopel site”?

Had 10 pellets inserted into my left side this morning. The only real pain was when the doc made the incision. I’m a little sore and sitting at work on my right butt cheek. I’ll report back in a few days.

He could have also balded because he’s a 42 year old man.
